whiner's wall

I've not won anything big, but I enjoy all that I've won. I get a rush from it. But I'm getting a little upset that I can't win the Skinny Cow promotion for Dirty Dancing stuff. There are sweeps for tons of money that I'd love to win, but for some reason I've fixated on the stupid Skinny Cow one. I want to win soooooo bad. I've tried spacing my entries out and doing them back to back. Nothing has worked so far. :cry:

When I get fixated on a sweeps, I never seem to hit on my fixation, instead, I'll usually end up winning another one that has few prizes :crazytongue:

That's one of the reasons I just decided to let it go, and just enter & forget it :whistle:

But now that I think of it, maybe I need to get fixated again, so I can win something, lol!!! :laughing:

I've been trying for that one, too. Just keep entering - you know that every entry increases your chances. Me, I just love the visuals of Patrick Swayze on the page. :crazytongue:
 
1st time on the Whiner's Wall....Just frustrated. I enter over 500 sweeps a day and nothing lately. Just discouraged and in need of a pick me up. :cry:
 
OK. My turn to whine. I have had Sweepstakes Ninja since December and except for a few days out of town, I churn those 500+ out every day. Nothing. I've been caring for a sick family member for 2 months, so, I've entered nothing except the Ninja stuff until a couple of days ago. I'm home now, so, I'm hoping I can get back in the groove. I don't usually do the instant win things. Don't know why. Just never got into it, I guess. Anyway, congrats to all the winners on this site and I'll be joining you soon!
 
I am itching for a win to prove my son wrong. He sees all the little things I win - a book, a $20 GC, etc. - and says that I am wasting my time. A larger win would prove to him that this is a worthwhile hobby. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed. I need to say "Told you so!!!"
 
I try to not post on this wall but the frustration is getting pretty big! I read the last couple of pages of posts and it helps to realize that this isn't just me and lots of sweepers are out there trying as hard as I am! I do have to mention that not having a "big win" in a month makes you very lucky! But to the rest who keep plugging away good luck to you all and hopefully everyone will get their chance at their big win!

In 8 years of sweeping, I've only had one BIG win - mostly I win free products & coupons, lol!!! :crazytongue: :whistle:
 
Ok here's my whine, sometimes it helps to post on here. I just would like to win something, I even changed up my entering times and that hasn't helped...very frustrating.

Did you also change up your entering order katiesmom?

I find when I stop hitting IW's, if I focus on my daily entry, daily prize, THEN IW, it sometimes helps - and I always remember - my longest dry spells ended with a bang - $750 camera, $1500 laptop, and a $10,000 GP!!! :headbang:

What am I doing wrong? I enter for hours and hours daily and haven't won but two things this yr. My wins last yr. Helped my family out so much, hoping to start winning again soon.
 
Thinking you won before, why not now?

Things I try to remember:

1] Sweeping is not a normal hobby - most hobbies you get out what you put in. :whistle:

2] While there is no "rule" that entering guarantees a win, and therefore entering more guarantees you will win more, it's more like the Lottery, where ya gotta play it to win it!

3] Getting wound up over someone else winning that prize you had your heart set on? So not worth it, unless you own stock in TUMS or something! :crazytongue:

4] Same as 3 but it's because a newbie hit a biggie while you have been toiling way for YEARS. It WILL happen. This is where you decide - fun hobby where you can be happy for others, or ulcer inducing? I pick A :laughing:
 
:wave: havn't won in quite some time so here goes my whine :cry: i am starting a new job soon and even though i would love a trip win it is not in my plans right now so i would like to whine for a lumber win or a deck! lol thanks
 
Going to test this out. Haven't won anything to speak of lately. I am sure much of it has to do with me not having as much time to enter but still it never hurts to whine. :cry: Good luck to all of us whiners. :sunny:
