whiner's wall

I'm a whiner this month, also. Been entering full-time, anything and everything, have not had a single win... Not even a coupon! :( Hope my dry spell is over soon, ready to take a break, so many more constructive things I could be doing with my time! :) Good Luck to Everyone and thanks for letting me vent!
 
My very first whine! It's been a very dry two months with no wins and no deliveries of prizes from last year. I need a lil something to put a pep in my step.
 
My first whiners wall ... I heard it works ! While I always appreciate small wins, like all of us, I am really hoping for a giant win. Entering everyday for the past 4 months, by now I was hoping for a big win, something $500 or more ($100,000 !!!). I have decided to step up my game and enter at least over 500 a day. Fingers crossed, prayers are flowing, hope and faith are abundant in me ... I will have a GIANT, LIFE-CHANGING WIN very very soon. As someone once said on here, "there is a chance that I have already won something, but the contest has not notified me yet".
 
Aw geez!! Been soooo long since I won anything but coupons!! Really hoping this "whine " post helps! Good Luck To All!!
 
My turn to whine. I must say even in the real world i'm not winning. A great win would help so much right now. Any win would help a little. Please something that will make my life easier! a car would be nice or a vacation would be great! fingers crossed!

I know, right? What is going on here? I got & am still sick since early last month, then I got hit with a nasty trojan I lost 2 days on cleaning up, and then I lost my email {DS fixed it, YAY!} and now DH & DS caught my cooties so we're all a bunch of crankypants!!!

Is 2013 cursed because the end of the world {*SMOD/Mayan prediction} didn't happen, lol??? :confused:

ok here is my whine i am on a long dry run and i hope this helps to break it lol. have not won nada for a long time fingers are worn out from entering .. someone send some wins my way :(
 
Ok, I haven't even won a candy bar recently, so I'm here to whine. My car was making a grinding noise from the front drivers side wheel. Hubby checked the brakes and with the input from a friend, decided they knew what the problem was and could fix it. Don't recall exactly what it was but the part was $100, some joint on the axel...anyway, he broke a tie rod in the process (another $50.00), needed some special pump to but the fluid back in ($15.00), decided to change brakepads while he had it apart ($20), countless hours in the garage with me as his unwilling assistant, finally get it put back together and it is still making the freakin' noise! He has now decided it must be a wheel bearing. $80 bearing is on order. Lol...could use a cash win or mechanical service win. Heck, let's shoot for the moon, how about a new car! Anything will do really.

Oh, lord save us from the enthusiastic yet not quite knowledgable enough helpful spouse!!! :p

Service shops have that sign up for them - you know, the one that goes something like:

Price chart:

Service - $80 per hour
Service if you tried to "fix" it first = $160 per hour

etc.............. ;)
 
Ok i'm back to whine because I'm not winning jack squat. No coupons, no gift cards nothing. Our car just died and son was diagnosed with a major learning disability. I really really need a win. Anything to make me feel like the universe isn't out to get me cause it constantly feels like life just wants too pooh on us.
 
Just needed to respond and provide some positive reinforcement.I began sweeping in Nov.of 2011 due to my spouse's unemployment.Unfortunately, I am the only breadwinner and he is unable to work due to health problems.My situation is a catch 22 in that I am unable to work other than part-time as I am his caregiver.The long and short of it is, sweeping has become a hobby,but also a godsend.I just now sold a $500 gift card for $400,thus providing some sorely needed household income.I can only share that faith,perseverence,and positive thinking goes a long way and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

zeldamae, ty for the positive reinforcement! I know they don't select winners on need, but it's nice to see winners that appreciate the win for more than just the thrill of winning!!!

Your post illustrates how a lot of us sweep - to provide that extra we can't any other way. In my case, I'm disabled and DH bears the load, so every $5+ prepaid visa helps out to defray costs when I go grocery shopping, etc!
 
It's been a long time since I posted on here at least a year but I have a hit a brick wall January and so far Febuary have not gotten a single win. Changed my routine up a little just to see if it would help, also took a few days off, still nothing. I have never hit for anything over 400.00 and at the back of my mind I am hoping this dry spell means I am finally going to have a a nice win maybe a trip. I could really use a trip as I am up to my eyeballs in snow in the lovly state of CT. Okay so enough whining here goes nothing.
 
I forgot to mention that tonite I will be having some wine and toasting to the Whiners wall! Keep your chin up

I started using Roboform a few months ago, and the wins have been few and far between, so I feel like I jinxed myself by making my entering easier than typing in everything or using autofill. I really shouldn't complain because I have had some nice wins over the past few years, but sure hoping for better days ahead! Good luck to all!
 
I have never been to the Whiner's wall, but Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years have all come and gone, and I didn't get any "congratulations emails"! Some say it helps to whine, so here goes: Whine ... whine ... whine ...

You know what? I remember noticing that too - but I figured out it wasn't because it was easier, it was because it was faster, so it changed my timing!

Since we live a rotating schedule {DH works it, I sleep opposite it because we drive each other nuts - I talk in my sleep & he chases rabbits, lol} I soon got my timing back, but it's a slippery thing for sure!!!
 
I'm hoping that this post might break my dry spell. I had a great win the first week of November & was ecstatic! Since then, although I enter daily I haven't won anything besides a couple of Twix bars. I have tried taking a couple of days off and changing the time of my entries but nada. I want to wish everyone the best of luck and hopefully this little whine will go well with a piece of Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways. Thanks for letting me post.

Ah, the curse of the good win followed by nothing but coupons - I know it well!!!

In fact, right after I posted to this wall about that {Twix coupons my only wins} I got a surprise win email for a blu-ray player, so don't give up hope wuvsnoopy, you CAN crack this slump!!!
