whiner's wall

whine Whine Whine. I need a win:( It's been awhile, but at least I had the holidays to take my mind off it. Now I need to start 2013 off with a bang!
 
I am hoping that the whining wall won't have to be used much at all in 2013!!! Good luck and good sweeping this year everybody!!!
 
Okay, I just finished a marathon of sweep entries over the past couple months. Here's hoping it worked! I had a pretty good 2012, but not as good as previous years. So, maybe a whine will help? The last time I sort of complained about how slow the instant wins were, I hit within a few hours. <Giving the magic whining wall 2 good knocks for some luck> Hope it's made of wood. :) Good luck to everyone in 2013!
 
A quick join on the whiners wall to see if it breaks my streak: stopped sweeping for about 6mths as we were trying to sell our home and were possibly moving. I was so paranoid that I'd actually win one and it would be delivered Fed-Ex to my old address (of the home we sold) and I'd never know! LOL. Kind of pathetic, I know, but it was nice to take a sweeping break during the busyness of moving anyway. So now I've been back and sweeping and haven't won ANYTHING! I can't wait for the dry spell to end and officially start winning again!
 
I hate to whine but after watching the Extreme Sweepers tv episode I guess I have to say I am hooked on sweeping. Although I have entered thousands of contests I have not one anything from an online contest. (about 10 years ago I won a Rifle in a local gun raffle). I must admit that when I check my email each day - I get extremely sad/mad when I dont see anything but advertising from companies that had sweepstakes that I didnt win. I usually only enter BIG contests or ones for vacations that the whole family can use such as vacations. I am hoping the whining will bring me at least one win !!! :) Good luck to you all
 
R.I.P. juju2cat...Like most ghosts I didn't realize that I had died and just continued to haunt this site... I had 3 books wins last month but
all other wins have died with me...sigh.. (Yeah, I know self-pity isn't pretty..:) )
 
Ok I am going to try this, I posted one time a long time ago and I believe I won shortly afterwards, This year, I just knew I was gonna have a good year. I felt it. Now here we are 9 days into it and I have won a coupon for a 2 liter and a b1g1 petsmart coupon, Now I should be thankful for even having these wins, and of course I am. However. I want a BIG win a very nice good win and lots of them. HeHe so I am posting here and whining that I want a good year of wins. I have spent so many hours everyday over the last several months daily entering hundreds of contests daily. I am dissappointed that this year I have only won coupons. so here I am whining and whining for a great win. Hope it helps.
 
Okay.
I had just over 17,000 entries (meaning I entered via FB, Twitter, blogs, pinterest, one entry, local, recipe, odd entry and some dailies sweeps 17000+ times and who knows how many "extra entries" I did...) for the year of 2012- and ....wait for it.... only 11 wins (book, 2 lotions, 2 lip-balms - worth maybe $1.00 each?, face cream, 2 shirts, 1 eyeliner and 1 mascara and headphones and two small misc packages) ....
Totally bummed over an awful year of non winning. Seriously. I've been a sweeper since 2007 and have never hit a big one but did great in 2009/2010 then slowed way down in 2011 and of course 2012 was basically worthless. I seriously miss that congratulations in my inbox or that surprise package in the mail. I've whined before but kept on trying. After a year like this I kinda feel like I shouldn't bother. I used to enjoy it like a hobby, now I feel sad every time I enter b/c of the lack of wins. I hope I don't sound awful, but I am sad. Anyone else know the feeling? anyone else had a year as dry as mine? Should I take a break? Stop? What do yo u guys think?
 
Just keep a positive attitude---when I enter---I just keep expecting to win---keep signing up for the company's newsletters---Like Them---and Share---give and you will receive is true! Most important--don't give up! I'm having fun!
 
My turn: Last week I posted about a phone call about a FedEx package needing a signature that turned out to be a DVD. Yesterday I got a UPS email about a package needing a signature for delivery this morning. This was a $100 NFLshop card. Now I am not saying I am NOT grateful for these prizes because I truly am, it is just that I let my mind go crazy after receiving that type of notice, I need a really really really great prize to compensate me for the migraine headaches I give myself from the anticipation.
 
I faithfully enter sweeps just about every day. Haven't won anything big in almost two years...just a few small wins here and there. Still waiting for the big one...please?
 
I've been sweeping for at least 2 years now. The biggest win I ever had was for a $300 item that is still sitting unopened in the box it was shipped in. I've mostly won small prizes. But the one I want most of all I just can't seem to win. I simply want an ereader. I don't care what kind. Hell it can be one of the cheap mp3 players that lets you read books on it. I've had a couple of ereaders in the past but have broken every single one. SO I'm whining because what I want more than anything I can't afford and haven't won despite years of trying.
 
Well...here's hoping the whiner's wall works! I have been entering to win an xbox. I have won some candy bars and am very grateful for those, but I can't use them....I am on weight watchers and am really trying to watch the weight go, not come...LOL. I really want the xbox to help with exercise. Now I know it's sort of crazy to be focused on one type of prize, but I do enter for all kinds of things as well. That's just the elusive prize I am whining about. Fingers crossed.. :-)
