whiner's wall

Let me get this out just to get it off my chest. I am not negative but just irritated and have to vent before I can get over it. Once this is out there, it's cleared from my conscience and I'll be all good. There's nothing I need from this but to get some of this internal conflict in words so it will get out of my mind.

For the love of Mary, I have been entering sweeps like a rabid person since the beginning of September last year. I have won four $10 gift cards over this 3/4 of a year that I have been entering. Doing the math, it's like a .01% win to enter ratio. I mean, is it too much to ask to win one of the contests that I have entered where they are giving away 14,000,000 of the "special edition" yo-gabba-gabba stickers just so I can have one more win under my belt and give it to my kid? Not that they have a contest like that but it's depressing to look up the ones I haven't won to have a better example. I know I'm not any more deserving than any of the other kabillion people that are entering too but it sure would be nice to have that email or phone call come once this year. Better if it's a big prize but with the un-won yo-gabba-gabba stickers out there, that would be way too much to ask.

Not sure if this is unique to me or not, but when I see lots winning on the "gimme" types, and I can't hit on them, I *usually* will win on another one, one with very few prizes, so I'm kinda happy when I don't hit on those! :crazytongue:

If you want to win a decent prize, you have to do what I did - I grounded everyone here from their computers until I got a good win! Within a day or so, I won a $100 Home Depot gift card. Everyone went back to their computers and since then, I haven't won but a bag of popcorn (wasn't listed on SA, I guess that helps). Of course it helps if everyone co-operates with the grounding thing! I may be getting ready to do it again! LOL.
 
Where is my trip?!?!? I have been entering sooo many sweeps but month of June & July has been dryyyyy just like the weather! Not even any of these local contests- I entered literally 7 times a day for all star game tickets and couldn't even win that. I will keep trying!! I enter at all different times and enter all types so I know it will come!!
 
I don't even know if I should post here, because I don't want to seem like I'm soliciting votes, lol. But I just have to get this off my chest. I'm a finalist in a HUGE prize contest right now and I'm so so so so scared we won't win. I've been telling absolutely everyone I know to vote, getting on the voting forum here, getting on voting forums on other sites etc, but every time I look around online, people are saying that these facebook voting contests are so hard to win because of the high rate of cheating (people buying votes, making fake facebook accounts, etc).

So anyway, I'm thankful that at least if we lose, we still walk away with a prize, but still. Let me just say I am NEVER EVER entering a voting contest ever again. My husband keeps telling me to relax because he's convinced I'm going to give myself an ulcer. But I know y'all will understand this is a BIG deal.

Typing all of that out was actually very cathartic:)

Well here I am again. It's been awhile since I have gotten a really good win. and it seems like each time I come here and complain I win something! after my last whine I won a new grill! so that was pretty awesome :sunny:
I have won a couple coupons again for free products (monster energy drink) but I am still waiting for a big win!! I keep entering everyday cus I know it will happen. :crazytongue:

It's going to be weird not voting on this - I'm gonna get that nagging "Now, what did I forget" feeling, I just know it!!! :crazytongue: :whistle:
 
I just want to win some cool stuff so I can sell it and get some money to pay some bills. It's sad that economic times have gotten to the point where people have to sell prizes in order to keep up with bills! :(
