whiner's wall

What Amy said is so true. So many of us did well in November and December. We have those expectations now and are disappointed not to have that same level of winning. I long for a good Robitussins or M&M/Mars promotion again!!
 
Th biggest thing i won was back in November and i dint like it so I sold it.
i want to win something i really WANT!!! :scratch:
 
I've been super busy, but have been still entering multiple sweepstakes each day. I love the tablet I won from December, but with work driving me crazy, a nice sweepstakes win would be one hell of a pick-me-up. Starting to think that ipad win was a fluke :scratch:
 
March has been a rough month though did I win a t-shirt and reese candy. Got my first affidavit in the mail today...get this, it's for the $5 pre-paid visa I won from the Diageo Mix It Up instant win. That's right, I said FIVE dollar visa. I do not bank locally and while I haven't actually called to check the price, I'm sure it would cost me more than $5 to have the affidavit notarized. Ugghhh...I hope my luck changes soon!

A coupon here and there for candy, some of which can't be claimed as wins because of the Freebie Fridays. I have won so many Rascal Flatts downloads and the limit is 2, feels like a total waste. A trip, some money, anything over $250 would be a huge rain storm in the dry spell that is my sweeping right now.

I have a blackberry and it stinks! I can see now why everyone calls them crapberrys. If I knew how bad this phone was going to be before I would of gotten an android!

It's time for me to whine a little. This year has been very slow so far, only one "bigger" win of $100. I enter religiously every day and dream about a trip win...
 
The last time I whined, my luck changed. Maybe a little whining will work again. Just having a little pity-party and would love a win to cheer me up!!
 
Seems like I always get my biggest win of the year in March. March 2010 won $500. March 2011 won $1000 hhgregg card, and then a trip to LA and $2200! I only have 3 days left before this tradition is broken. I have had a few nice wins this year in January and February, but still waiting for the big March win. Yeah, I know I am a sweeps addict, the small wins are nice, but always waiting for the next big score.
 
I think this is the right spot for me right now :). Its been about two weeks since any decent wins. I'd like something big! Like a tv or an xbox. Something worth my two hours a day just entering and all the time I spend checkin my email! Biggest thing I've won is a free pair of shoes from Rockport for $110. Don't get my wrong, love my shoes and free shoes are the best, but I need somethin to prove to my husband its worth it... Alright, think I'm done and feel much better :)
 
Thought I'd try whining to improve my luck. Been sweeping for 16 mos. (full time for 7mos) and aside from a few IWs, I haven't won anything. I can't seem to even win instants very often (I won nothing from the Robitussin sweeps). Hoping for a trip win, preferably to Hawaii :)

I'm sure your luck will change, I just hope mine does soon as well. I suppose I don't enter as many, but I usually don't register to win trips as it's already difficult enough to get out of work when it's somewhere I had planned on going.
 
I'm with you, Ruby. I would love to win a trip as my husband and I can no longer afford such a luxury. We could really use a break!!
 
Ok, I am making my first post on the whiner's wall. I have been sweeping for about a year and a half. The first year was GREAT. this last half year has been really slow, It has been over a year since I won my biggest win. And months since I have gotten a affidavit in the mail. I have won $100 here and there items etc. But I put many hours a day into my sweeping and it seems to be really slow anymore. I just wanted to whine a bit, maybe my luck will change just by posting this. Maybe not but atleast I get to let out some frustration. I will not stop entering though, as I know I can win!! And winning helps me give my children things I normally cannot afford to give them. Here's to hoping my luck changes and good things come my way.

I share your frustration. I have been seriously sweeping since last August and have yet to win anything which requires an affadavit. I do enjoy all the little instant wins - small pleasures that keep me going but I long for something bigger. My family has been seriously affected by the economy as well as health issues. I would love a vacation (which we can no longer afford) or money to pay some of our accumulating bills. Thanks SA for giving us a place to vent!!
 
Ok Here I am!!!! Whining away. It's been far too long since I've had a good win. C'mon I'm waiting and waiting and waiting......

Always be happy for those who win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win.

If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!!

I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!
