whiner's wall

:scratch:ok so patience isn't my strongest vertue. I'm entering and entering and entering and waiting. I know some of the contest I have entered have ended. So now the waiting game is on I suppose. I check my email every day and sometimes in the evening. I continue to enter contest. I am doing the whole enter it and forget it stratagy. So we will see what happens. Sometimes if its an unlimited entry I will enter those every day, but man oh man I can't wait to win. Even a $100 Olive Garden Gift Card would be awesome. I'm trying to remain postive and tell myself I will win something soon. I don't enter all day only an hour or two in the morning as I have my coffee. Sometimes I'll jump back on around mid day, and then again in the evening. I am trying to mix it up. Any other tips for a better chance of winning? I know its all a matter of chance. You can't win if you aren't in it...
 
IT's been a long time since I did sweeps. But I am getting back into it now. Hopefully I will win something soon. I miss the old days of getting packages on my door step.
 
OK, I'll post my whine - I've been putting it off in hopes things would turn around, and they sorta did - a win I thought I lost out on was recently confirmed when I asked about it, but I don't have it yet and haven't heard back...

For perspective, I remind myself that in 2009, I had a loooooooooong losing streak that ended right before I was about to post in this thread last year - my GP for $10,000 - and prior to that, a 7 week slump ended with a NICE $700 camera win, so I just keep plugging along, and hope I time things right and hit again!!!
 
Okay....a small slow whine....I have been doing this 4-5 weeks and have no good reason to whine, but I do whine from time to time at times like this...so.....Milk Latte didn't like me....Sour Patch Kids don't like me...and neither do the Hot Pockets robots....and the transformers robots.....I am unloved in this cruel contest world! Okay...so I am partially kidding! But I still wanted to get a little whine in for no wins yet. :cry: :laughing:
 
In a lull....wanting a win....also bummed that I will be out of town for training 3 days a month and will not be able to enter sweeps those days...bummer!!! Pushing off buying a new car to take my training...so sweep fairy if you're listening....new car new car lol honestly just hoping for a modest win soon
 
After winning nothing - yes, I said nothing - in 2010, I have had only one small win in 2011, a DVD.

I keep hoping a have a few good wins waiting for me. Not only do I need cash, clothes, and just about everything else so I'd be thrilled to win anything, I am also hoping to win for a good cause. I run my church's youth group for kids in grades 7-12. We have only a small group; it's hard to get kids to join. The kids I do have are great! We are having a fundraiser at the end of the month and one of the features is supposed to be a raffle. I've tried to get donations from I don't know how many local businesses with almost no luck. One very smart young businesswoman realized that donating would be good publicity for her fairly new business and gave us a certificate to her nail salon. Everyone else said no (and some were VERY rude about it!). I hope we will get a few more donations in the next week or two but I'm also keeping my fingers crossed that a prize or two arrives in the mail soon so I can donate it/them. And, of course, I wouldn't mind winning something for myself. :whistle:
 
uh oh.....whining almost ALWAYS works for me when Im having a dry spell, but since the last time I posted there has been NADA......it must be time to do it again, someone is not listening to me!!!! :laughing: Maybe its the universes way of telling me I was being too greedy---when I WAS winning, I would sometimes get a little irritated at the "little wins" of things like coupons for a free candy bar....now I would give ANYTHING for a small win, just so I could stop seeing that infuriating "youre a big loser" screen. Gahhhhhhhh!!! :hammer:

Okay. I'm ready to try this whole whining thing. Today I won 10 disney rewards credits and a printable sticker, this doesn't really feel like a win to me and I want to whine about it. Yesterday someone posted that they won the mike's hard lemonade grand prize, I entered that one religiously every single day since day one and nothing for me!! :cussing: I want a decent win and soon. Please sweepstakes Gods sprinkly some lucky dust on me, I need a win and I won't be happy with a Chocolate Sweepstakes & Giveaways bar, LOL..
 
Well its my turn to post on the Whiners Wall. When I first started sweeping about mid Sept I think I was winning all kinds of small things....now NOTHING. It is such a let down to check your email when you have 50 messages and no wins....here's hoping for a big one....like maybe the Camaro? LOL... :laughing:
 
That is so funny! usnsjf, I read your comment about the sour patch kids, and that reminded me of a couple of contests I wanted to enter yet, and went to do that, and the first I hit, coincidentally was the sour patch kids, and guess what? I won a bag of it! It was just so ironic! Had to tell you.
 
still sick of seeing "finally" attached to someone posting a win after a few weeks of sweeping. A win is a bonus not what you're owed. I haven't won any of the big prizes, it's just fun to win anything.

I had some good wins in the past but now, can't win anything, but keep plugin along, still waiting for the big win.
 
I was doing pretty good at winning. A win every one to two weeks. Most small but it was still great. Now I've hit a dryspell and haven't won anything since Sept. 14th. I thought I'd come here just to whine for a few minutes.

ok - now that I've got that out of my system - back to entering (& hopefully winning something - anything!)
 
Alright the last time I whined was July 27th. I then had my biggest win Aug. 14th or 15th of an ARV of $1300 and haven't won anything except fake nails and a sample tube of mascara since. That's 3 months of sweeping and entering at least 500 sweepstakes a day and only winning those two things. Boo Hoo!! I'm really getting bummed out because Christmas is quickly approaching and I have like 6 birthdays too and I was hoping that sweeping would help me out with both but so far it don't look that way. How 'bout someone that is having luck out there throw some of your luck my way--doesn't have to be all your luck. I would so appreciate it and if I'm ever having a lucky streak I'll throw some your way. Kaboom!! I think I just got hit with some minor readjustments in the luck department. Or was that lightning!! Thank you skylajane! I did forget that I won a mask from Butterfinger! That was worth $30 I think. I still haven't received it yet.
Since I posted I won something from Tandoor Chef on Facebook. Don't know what yet.
