Everytime I start to "forget" I get cranky and I even annoy myself, lol!!! So I focus on answering questions, voting for SA members, etc. and that usually squares me away - especially if I happen to win a little something :whistle:
 
:cry: Ok here's my two cents, it's worth a shot. I want to win something. Everyone likes to win something even if it's coupons. I love coupons. I have been entering daily for a few weeks now. I know some of the contest don't end till the end of the month, but dang it I want to win, I'm hopeful I'll win. I dream of winning and I'd love to post about my first win. Giving all those who haven't won or who happen to be in a dry spell at the moment a big hug. Yes, I'm happy for those that have won. I want my moment in the sun too :cry:
 
ok, my whine is of a slightly different nature but I want to say it anyway...
People who title their wins "finally" and then proceed to say things like "I've been sweeping for two and a half weeks and I finally won a prize"
People who write "I won a $x (whatever it is) voucher but I'm on the other side of the country and can't use it"
People who write " I won the 52" TV but I really wanted to win the car" (no kidding?)
Arrrrrrggggghhhhhh!

lotusdragonfly - I hear ya, but everyone is different, IMO posting "Finally" is a reflection of their mental process - it seems like they were seeing a lot of people posting they just started and won, while they've been plugging away for weeks/months/years and FINALLY won, so I get that. Same goes for the newbies - they think they should be able to win just as easily!

I try very hard to NOT judge how others sweep, and I look for "the rest of the story" when I see a "I won x but don't want it/can't use it" post - *most* of the time, that prize is one of many and they *usually* are trying for one of those other prizes and while they are happy they won, they wish they'd of won the prize they were going for.

However - if it's the ONLY prize? I hold my tongue and hope they will figure out to enter for quality over quality. :crazytongue:

Again, it is a reflection of their mental process that they would write they won a good prize, but really wanted the better one/a different one. Perhaps they already won it before and are in dire need of the better one? I don't know.

The sooner people figure out that they have NO control, except in what they choose to enter, and learn to take the bad aspects of ths hobby in stride, the more likely they will last. :sunny:

Im starting to think maybe its time to give up on sweeping and start writing that best selling novel Ive been putting off for a few years now...you'd all buy it right? :laughing:

What genre? I LOVE to read, mostly fantasy/sci-fi, but I'll read the shampoo label if I have nothing else, lol :crazytongue: :whistle: :laughing:

Well, I thought I got an instant win of $25. live nation concert cash, already picked out the hoodie I wanted to buy... got my code today it was for $5. whine whine whine whine whine................ I know a win is a win..

:whistle:O.k.so I've posted on here once already. I'm going to win, I want to win, I'd love to win something. The suspense is killing me. I have a few contest I've entered all month long that end at the end of the month. I have random contest that I've been entering at the last minute. I like to look at the one's that are expiring soon. I've been entering throughout the day. Sometimes I enter early the morning, sometimes I wait until later in the day to look at the contest. I'm hooked on entering. My hubby said go for it. I don't enter the travel contest just because of timing issues that might come up. Those would be the one's I'd probably win. So hopefully in the next couple of weeks. I can write and say I won, I won. It's fun though thinking about what you might do with a $2000 gift card to Macy's or hope that you win that big screen tv. So, fingers crossed, I want to win. I need a good win. I'm just going to keep plugging away. I finally have my autofill set up and that's been a big help. Shoot it'd be even nice to win something from Zales. Best of luck to all out there...
 
Fairly new sweeper. I had a decent month for a beginner in August, but September has been a bust. I am going to whine so that maybe the last couple of days will bring luck! Maybe a big one. :-) good luck whiners! :cry:
