ARGGHHH!! More whining for me..first one didn't do the trick! Lately so many GP winners and,of course,NEW people winning the big ones!! Just drives me insane with jealousy!! Of,course I'm very happy for all the winners,as it does prove they give the big ones away.AND ,it's always good to hear a fellow sweeper on SA won.I need to get a nice GP under my belt so I can stop acting like my kid!!Good luck all...everyone on this page needs it!
 
Ok, so I want to whine too. I have been at this for 3 months. Several hundred a day, hours on line. I haven't gotten a win in over 3 weeks. Maybe I just have the wrong idea. I was hoping by now to have a couple of hits a weeks?
A question has come up in the last little bit. Is it better to have the pop-up blocker on or off while sweeping?
Whine, cry, stomp feet, wipe eyes, and sweep some more!
 
Im starting to wonder what I am doing wrong because I enter hundreds and hundreds of contests a day and I'm not winning anything big or small. Last year I won a couple small prizes but I'm not doing so well this year. I just feel with all that I enter statistics would be on my side. Guess Not lol :cry:
 
sick of seeing everyone winning the big ones except me, all these people who swept for a month or two or even six whole months and then win the big ones *finally*, I spend way too much time entering and it's beginning to feel really bad.
 
I started sweeping last year. My biggest win I've had so far is a $300 rug in an instant win game. Last year I routinely won instant win games. Although they were not grand prizes, winning something encouraged me to keep on sweeping. This year my wins have stopped. :cry: All I keep seeing is the "sorry your not a winner screen." Ugh! So frustrating. I play my instant wins first thing in the morning, thinking I should change it up and try entering at night. I 've seen people post wins after the whine, lets see if that works. :blob:
 
i wanna complain to!!!!! lol i am really sick of not winning! i have been sweeping for exactly 14 months...around 3 hours a DAY...and biggest prize i won is an x box..........i am extremely thankful for my wins that i have had but i need a big win preferably money :)......trip would be nice ....laptop would be swell plzzzzzzzzzzzzz.....its almost xmas im being good:) camel sweepstakes i wanna win on that one some people winning 2 and 3 times pfftttt can't even win 1 time........ :crazytongue: ok well i actually feel a bit better maybe some good luck is coming my way :sunny:
 
OK when I started this wall I thought it would give everyone a chance to shake off the bad vibes and start anew on a winning streak. For a long time i didn't post here because i was winning enough to feel like it wouldn't be fair to complain that I was only winning little things not the big ones when some aren't winning at all. Unfortunatley lately I can't seem to win even the little sweeps (ones where there are 1000s of winners). I just wonder how people win multiple trips and thousand dollar prizes. Is it Karma????? Anyway I am here again shaking off the bad vibes and hoping hoping hoping for some wins and wishing EVERYONE some great holiday wins.
 
My Turn, I am greatful for everything I have won, but I do be;ieve it's my turn again. I know with working full time my time is almost non-existant, but something, heck, anything, would be really nice.
 
Okay..that does it! Official proverbial straw!! ANOTHER big win by a newbie!!That is sooo frustrating to me..I spend hours on this stupid computer instead of cleaning my house,always promising hub that a big one is coming soon.Of course he just rolls his eyes at me..lol!! This is my last whine..3rd one's gonna be the charm or this thing goes out the freakin window!! I think I have a better chance of getting struck by lightning!!
 
Haven't won anything in MONTHS! In fact, I can only think of one win in the last year and a half, a DVD. While I'm grateful for that, I wish I could win a bit more considering the time I put into this. :cry: It is hard to read messages from the people who say they haven' won anything for a week or two!

It's going to be a very difficult holiday season and I'd love to win something(s) I could use for a gift for one of my nieces and/or nephew. I don't care so much about not having gifts for the adults (although I"m sure I'll hear about it) but I'd like to have something for the kids.

Winners, please keep posting your wins. It keeps the rest of us going! Thanks!
 
I haven't won anything in quite a long time. I enter about 300 sweepstakes per day and have had a long dry spell. I'm hoping to win something soon! :cry:
 
I just wanted to say that I plan on winning MANY nice and big and alot of smaller prizes in the next couple months. Thank you Jesus!! I will not whine!! I will not whine!! I will not whine!!

I appreciate this thread for a place to blow off steam, since we have NO control over anything but for what we do, and I'm grateful most understand and accept that!

I learned long ago that I "control my own reality" but I still fell into the why them and not me for too long. :crazytongue:

Once I realized I was the reason I didn't enjoy this hobby, I made a decision - and a credo. It's gotten me through some long dry spells, hopefully it will help you:

Enter and forget it.

Always be happy for those who win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win.

If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!!

I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

So hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - and you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! :headbang:
 
Thank you, Katron, for starting this thread. I agree that it is great to let off steam once in a while. I'm trying to think positively and feel certain I will have a win (any win, big or small!) soon. Just entered a sweeps for a mattress as mine is in such bad shape that the coils were sticking out of the fabric. I have scratches all over my legs! :crazytongue: Borrowed a wirecutter over the weekend to cut off all the dangerous bits. It's actually pretty funny when I'm not bleeding! :laughing: I'd be very grateful for a few small wins I could give as Christmas gifts.
