Congrats!! I'm entered in about 20 right now, and only because I read this thread and also decided to give it a shot...haven't won yet but I have my fingers crossed!

I'm glad to see more people entering, so that the larger prizes are being awarded (and we all get a chance to win them).
Re: "Do the points expire?" They're good for a year. If you click on your 'Rewards' Tab it will tell you when your points expire.
Funny story. I've won a total of $525 worth of points so far; and when I went into my local Sears store to spend some of them, the clerk had to call all the other clerks over to look at the register, because they'd never seen anybody with 1/2 million points in their account before!

I have a question for you. On the site it says you can use as many or as few points as you want when you redeem them, but can you use the points to COMPLETELY pay for a purchase? Like tax/shipping?

Reply to openmind101, Re: using SUWR Points.
Yes, the points will pay for everything including shipping and taxes. In fact, I even used some of my points to pay their Annual Fee to get free shipping! That way I can order little items without using up all my points on shipping; also, they occasionally put $3 of $5 in my account for no reason at all, maybe because I'm such a good customer WITH THEIR MONEY!!!
However, Points are only good for items actually sold by them (ie. Sears, K-Mart, Lands End, etc.), not for things listed by outside vendors.
I'm so happy to see more people entering, because "a rising tide lifts all boats."

I have entered about 10 of these over the last month. I agree about the learning curve, and low entries. I have not won yet, but keep thinking the odds are in my favor. Glad to see others have won this. Keeps my spirits up that it's not a waste of time.

I'm trying my first sears sweeps, because of this post. Conflicted though...is it just me or does anyone else feel like this is "cooking the books" for Sears? I mean let's review and recommend products that we've never used or even own. I created my own "shortcut" and got started with a bunch of sweeps and then just "want, share, review and rate" everything!

I agree that it's not well thought out on their part. Especially, now that they're listing 17 - 20 NEW ones every day, it's insane to think that they will get any thoughtful feedback. What the heck, it's their sweep/their rules. I don't find it any sillier than some of the other 'hoops' we have to jump through to enter. Personally, I'll just cry all the way to the bank.

I think I have most of the site figured out but I can't add any products to my catalog. I even tried it in a different browser to see if I was missing something. Anybody else have this problem?

Hmm, at what point are you having the problem? I find the system weird and annoying, but I can add products to my catalog.

Are you able to make the catalog, using the name exactly as instructed? Do you find a product, click on "Add to catalog," then see your catalog list with a box next to each title so you can click on the box to add to the right catalog? I ask, because it was at this point that I had trouble at first. I could not see the entire catalog list, and you need to see it all so you can click on the "OK" button on the bottom, right. To see this, I had to use the F11 function key on my computer. Don't know if this will help you, but it is where I was stuck at first.

A few other things to keep in mind: 1) make sure you click the "Get Started Now" for each sweep before you do any of the tasks, or it won't record what you've done; 2) it sometimes takes a long time to switch from "Not Complete" to "Entered"; also, 3) if you're copying and pasting the title for the new catalog from the instructions - make sure you don't include the quotation marks. If you still have problems, you can post a comment in the "comments" section of the particular sweep. From the comments I've read they're very responsive to problems and can go in and track what you did to see where you went wrong.

I just started doing this, and it's not hard once you get the hang of it. Can someone explain threshold to me? Also I would love to add friends to this to be in more contests

I think threshold simply means the minimum number of entries for the sweeps to run. For most it is 1, but for premium sweeps it varies.

I've been too busy to look into how to add friends, but will post if I do...or someone else may figure it out first!

hi i've entered about 10 so far. thanks for the tip. But question for anyone: it says the prize are points, not money. How did you guys win cash?

You win points (unless you win an actual item, as in the premium sweeps). You win points, but you use them like cash when you shop online or in person at Sears or Kmart.

I can not win this sweeps! Are they judged? The same people seem to win everyday, sometimes multiple times in a day. I just don't get it? Not sure it's worth the crazy amount of time it takes.
