1. I told the Beauchamps that anything negative I posted was not based on their loving friendship with BAR. They had to have known about the major problems with the buffets and dinner.
2. Food service and buffets. They ran out of plates, set ups, cole slaw, drinks, and food for the disabled who had to wait up to half an hour for service. It was known to the management that people were diabetic, had food allergies, etc. that required special food but there seemed to be a belief that bagels, lousey churros (staff warned me on that one), yucky breakfast sandwiches and other stuff was acceptable. Vegans, religious diets, allergy/celiac, diabetics, etc had no breakfast. Water coolers went dry but who cared.
3. The beauchamps KNEW that there were going to be parkers who needed chairs but there were about 4 in the convention lobby and and a few others. They needed about 50 minimum chairs but had no chairs for the disabled, pregant and tired people.
4. MASS CONFUSION. The Beuachamps KNEW that people get confused at conventions. Instead of saying to people "Please, form one line on each side and drop your pink ticket in the bowl" they just left us to fend for ourselves and many of us had to set on the floor while waiting. What is the Prize Closet? where do we go? A lot of confusion.
5. As for the blog of the Contest Queen. As you see Champagne was not alone in the herd that left the place early.
6. As go complaints, they are members of BAR's site which had complaints.
7. Should you go to NH 2009? YES as they learned form this convention how to screw up a convention.
8. Tiny Momo did show up to the convention. I talked to her friends Pamcakes and GeminiLion who now are spreading rumours about me including that I stole their bleeping troll. HATE ALERT: BAR and friends have a troll named Janky which was one of my online alias. YEP That troll is me. Some really really STUPID PEOPLE had the audacity to accuse me of troll stealing yet failed to realize that there was no way for me to get near their precious troll. GeminiLion said I was gross, thank you very much. Takes one to know one is my motto.
9. I will be talking to Ken and will work with him if I can to get us into the NH convention. I want to see us at a table in the vendor room. I will donate time and money. We would give away 1000 goody bags of about $3 each. Pen with "www.sweepsadvantage.com home to over 1000 free snail and online sweeps" then add cute junk like a postcard or stamps or something. Let me think of other stunts like SA t-shirts that we could wear to the convention. We got one year and we at SA have been letting Ken and SA down by not helping out with the convention. SA WILL BE THERE NEXT YEAR AND RULE THE CONVENTION ROOST. We will all go up there and work as a team to help each other with transportation and rooms and what ever else we have to do to make SA #1.
10. Should you go to San Antonio? YES
You can stay in a Motel 6 or the Menger for cheap and have fun cheap like the trolley ride, the Market, the Alamo is free, Riverwalk is free and the boat ride is like $10 and worth it, Breckenridge park has hiking, a pretty sunken garden, a hike up to Chinese Tea Garden, a fun train to ride, and a Zoo. It is worth it if you find the local restaurants and there are great things to see and do there. The Marriott is a great hotel but the parking and room for one night cost me $180.

We left when the raffles drawings began to spend extra time with Nicole at the pool as we did not participate in any of the raffles. Why not? They are only applicable to Americans as the prizes are stamps, envelopes, etc.
