i THINK IT REALLY IS SPECIAL WHEN YOU CAN BLESS OTHERS BECAUSE YOU TAKE THE TIME TO GIVE. iT DOESN'T JUST HAVE TO BE FINANCIAL. iT COULD BE GIVING YOUR TIME OR TALENTS OR EVEN JUST LISTENING TO SOMEONE WHO IS TROUBLED. bE A BLESSING IN SOMEONES LIFE TODAY AND EVERY DAY IF POSSIBLE.

Sorry for the caps but I think I will leave it because it is an important message and I should shout it to everyone. :)
 
I hope everyone is enjoying this great day. I am so glad to be able to take the time to come before the Lord God and worship him. He is a glorious God and he makes me smile and he makes me laugh. He shows me beauty in all his splendor. When the sky is blue I see him. When the flowers bloom I see God. When the birds sing I see him. When the storms appear I see him.

Look for him he is everywhere Amen.
 
Each day is a new challenge. I sometimes face things that I just want to scream. We all do and I want to give into the fear of the situation in not knowing the outcome. It's so easy to give in to our fears but don't. It will only make things look hopeless.

God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and a sound mind. Hold fast to his promises.

Lord show favor today to someone who needs it. You know the trials and tribulations that they are going through. Be there right by their side. Let them feel your peace. In Jesus name Amen.

Your prayers mean the world to me and you are absolutely right about needing them. I believe with all my heart (in fact I know) God does work this way. He will place someone in our hearts if he wants to. I have had this happen before to me and for me. This is an answered prayer. This is his way of telling me he is listening to me and he loves me and is there for me.

I don't go into those times in my life when I have anything going on because I just tend to trust God.But you brought tears to my eyes just reading your words and knowing God has used you to strengthen me. Thank you with all my heart. :love: You are an answer to prayer.

After reading this I also hope it gives others courage to know God does hear and answer our prayers. He is a loving God and he will take care of us. This doesn't mean we won't have hard times but this just means he will let you know he's got it all under control.

8For as these qualities are yours and increasingly abound in you, they will keep [you] from being idle or unfruitful unto the [[g]full personal] knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).

9For whoever lacks these qualities is blind, [[h]spiritually] shortsighted, seeing only what is near to him, and has become oblivious [to the fact] that he was cleansed from his old sins.

16For we were not following cleverly devised stories when we made known to you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), but we were eyewitnesses of His majesty (grandeur, authority of sovereign power).

17For when He was invested with honor and glory from God the Father and a voice was borne to Him by the [splendid] Majestic Glory [in the bright cloud that overshadowed Him, saying], This is My beloved Son in Whom I am well pleased and delight,

18We [actually] heard this voice borne out of heaven, for we were together with Him on the holy mountain.

19And we have the prophetic word [made] firmer still. You will do well to pay close attention to it as to a lamp shining in a dismal (squalid and dark) place, until the day breaks through [the gloom] and the Morning Star rises ([j]comes into being) in your hearts.

20[Yet] first [you must] understand this, that no prophecy of Scripture is [a matter] of any personal or private or special interpretation (loosening, solving).

21For no prophecy ever originated because some man willed it [to do so--it never came by human impulse], but men spoke from God who were borne along (moved and impelled) by the Holy Spirit.
 
Thank you Lord for the many people who serve you through donating their time and money and their talents to reach others. They are an inspiration to all of us and they are a light in a dark place Amen.

Many more important people have forgotten that there is no other name that was given so much authority as the name of Jesus.

I hope everyone is having a good week. I have begun to get back to a more positive state of mind ever since that wonderful prayer from tobby1. God is so amazing and I just don't have enough words to describe who he really is.

Praise God in heaven he does answer prayers. I just wanted to let everyone know that not only did God put me on someone's heart to pray for me but last night someone called the house and said they had been having my husband on their minds for a couple days and wanted to let him know they were thinking about him. As it turns out they told me they are a Christian and felt the same way I did about God having others pray for you. This just tells me he is in control and he will take care of everything. Remember you may be struggling but when you ask God to help you he will.

I will lift his name on high and will worship and adore him.He is just so everything I need. He is my world and life. I love him always and can't wait to be in his presence Amen.
 
Be with us all today Lord and keep us safe. We trust you and believe you will lead us on the path to righteousness. You are our source you are our life Amen.

THE PRAYER OF JABEZ
1 Chronicles 4:10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested."
 
I want to lift up everyone who is having such a hard time with all these storms. I pray that in the midst of all this that you look to God for confort Amen.
 
I want to remind everyone that even the smallest prayers are answered. I had to find a dress to go to my daughters wedding this Sept. I didn't want to pay a lot for it. Well I was shopping in WAL MART the other day and just thought I would check for something. When I started looking all of a sudden the thought to say a quick little prayer to God to help me find a dress. Well I found the perfect one. It looks similar to the one I had tried on at the bridal shop for $250. This dress is exactly what I had in mind.

God answers even the smallest prayers. Now sure many would say oh that's just coincidence. No it's a loving father who cares for his daughter. Thank you father for all you do in my life.

Don't ever think anything is too small or too big for God. Ask he is waiting on you.
 
I love the verse of the day it is just so wonderful to see the words of the Bible each time I come to the support thread.

Also again I want to say thanks again to the owners of this site for allowing me to minister this way. I would have never imagined I would be able to serve the Lord this way. When I think of the many people I can reach I am so blessed.

The glory belongs to the most high God and he is so worthy. I thank you Lord for choosing me and for being my everything. I will worship you with all my being and give you the praise. Amen
 
2 Peter 2
1BUT ALSO [in those days] there arose false prophets among the people, just as there will be false teachers among yourselves, who will subtly and stealthily introduce heretical doctrines (destructive heresies), even denying and disowning the Master Who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
2And many will follow their immoral ways and lascivious doings; because of them the true Way will be maligned and defamed.

6And He condemned to ruin and extinction the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, reducing them to ashes [and thus] set them forth as an example to those who would be ungodly;(B)

7And He rescued righteous Lot, greatly worn out and distressed by the wanton ways of the ungodly and lawless--(C)

8For that just man, living [there] among them, tortured his righteous soul every day with what he saw and heard of [their] unlawful and wicked deeds--

9Now if [all these things are true, then be sure] the Lord knows how to rescue the godly out of temptations and trials, and how to keep the ungodly under chastisement until the day of judgment and doom,

10And particularly those who walk after the flesh and indulge in the lust of polluting passion and scorn and despise authority. Presumptuous [and] daring [self-willed and self-loving creatures]! They scoff at and revile dignitaries (glorious ones) without trembling,

11Whereas [even] angels, though superior in might and power, do not bring a defaming charge against them before the Lord.

12But these [people]! Like unreasoning beasts, mere creatures of instinct, born [only] to be captured and destroyed, railing at things of which they are ignorant, they shall utterly perish in their [own] corruption [in their destroying they shall surely be destroyed],

13Being destined to receive [punishment as] the reward of [their] unrighteousness [suffering wrong as the hire for their wrongdoing]. They count it a delight to revel in the daytime [living luxuriously and delicately]. They are blots and blemishes, reveling in their [a]deceptions and carousing together [even] as they feast with you.

14They have eyes full of harlotry, insatiable for sin. They beguile and bait and lure away unstable souls. Their hearts are trained in covetousness (lust, greed), [they are] children of a curse [exposed to cursing]!

15Forsaking the straight road they have gone astray; they have followed the way of Balaam [the son] of Beor, who loved the reward of wickedness.(D)

16But he was rebuked for his own transgression when a dumb beast of burden spoke with human voice and checked the prophet's madness.(E)

17These are springs without water and mists driven along before a tempest, for whom is reserved forever the gloom of darkness.

18For uttering loud boasts of folly, they beguile and lure with lustful desires of the flesh those who are barely escaping from them who are wrongdoers.

19They promise them liberty, when they themselves are the slaves of depravity and defilement--for by whatever anyone is made inferior or worse or is overcome, to that [person or thing] he is enslaved.

20For if, after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through [the full, personal] knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they again become entangled in them and are overcome, their last condition is worse [for them] than the first.

21For never to have obtained a [full, personal] knowledge of the way of righteousness would have been better for them than, having obtained [such knowledge], to turn back from the holy commandment which was [verbally] delivered to them.

22There has befallen them the thing spoken of in the true proverb, The dog turns back to his own vomit, and, The sow is washed only to wallow again in the mire.
 
Thank you Lord for those who are willing to minister to anyone who needs it. You have chosen us to serve and we do it willingly because we are blessed Amen.
