Just to let everyone know once again God has shown me he hears my prayers and he's got it under control so not to worry. Two young women prayed with me today out of the blue. He is an awesome God believe in him and follow him. Never let go of his hand. He wants to spend time with you just take the time to be with him Amen.

I would like to say a prayer today to all those involved in all the floods taking place. I look at this and it just reminds me of Katrina. The levees are being breached and so many have lost so much. I will say thank God most of the loss is material things and they can be replaced. Yes it will be hard and it is stressful.
Lord we know you are in control and we know you will see everyone who calls on you through this difficult time. I am lifting them all up to you and thanking you for how we will see you even in the midst of tragedy. Bless these people Lord and watch over them in Jesus name Amen.

Take each day as it comes and don't look back. The past is exactly that the past. Leave it there and face each day with new hope and like it's a fresh start. Enjoy the things the Lord has done for you and thank him for what he is about to do.

1BELOVED, I am now writing you this second letter. In [both of] them I have stirred up your unsullied (sincere) mind by way of remembrance,
2That you should recall the predictions of the holy (consecrated, dedicated) prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior [given] through your apostles (His special messengers).
3To begin with, you must know and understand this, that scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing, [people who] walk after their own fleshly desires
4And say, Where is the promise of His coming? For since the forefathers fell asleep, all things have continued exactly as they did from the beginning of creation.
5For they willfully overlook and forget this [fact], that the heavens [came into] existence long ago by the word of God, and the earth also which was formed out of water and by means of water,
6Through which the world that then [existed] was deluged with water and perished.(A)
7But by the same word the present heavens and earth have been stored up (reserved) for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly people.
8Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape you, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as one day.(B)
9The Lord does not delay and is not tardy or slow about what He promises, according to some people's conception of slowness, but He is long-suffering (extraordinarily patient) toward you, not desiring that any should perish, but that all should turn to repentance.
10But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish (pass away) with a thunderous crash, and the [[a]material] elements [of the universe] will be dissolved with fire, and the earth and the works that are upon it will be burned up.
11Since all these things are thus in the process of being dissolved, what kind of person ought [each of] you to be [in the meanwhile] in consecrated and holy behavior and devout and godly qualities,
12While you wait and earnestly long for (expect and hasten) the coming of the day of God by reason of which the flaming heavens will be dissolved, and the [[c]material] elements [of the universe] will flare and melt with fire?(C)
13But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to His promise, in which righteousness (uprightness, freedom from sin, and right standing with God) is to abide.(D)
14So, beloved, since you are expecting these things, be eager to be found by Him [at His coming] without spot or blemish and at peace [in serene confidence, [d]free from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts].
15And consider that the long-suffering of our Lord [[e]His slowness in avenging wrongs and judging the world] is salvation ([f]that which is conducive to the soul's safety), even as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the spiritual insight given him,
16Speaking of this as he does in all of his letters. There are some things in those [epistles of Paul] that are difficult to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist and misconstrue to their own [g]utter destruction, just as [they distort and misinterpret] the rest of the Scriptures.
17Let me warn you therefore, beloved, that knowing these things beforehand, you should be on your guard, lest you be carried away by the error of lawless and wicked [persons and] fall from your own [present] firm condition [your own steadfastness of mind].
18But grow in grace (undeserved favor, spiritual strength) and [h]recognition and knowledge and understanding of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (the Messiah). To Him [be] glory (honor, majesty, and splendor) both now and to the day of eternity. Amen (so be it)!

To look at that chapter in 2 Peter we can know that no matter what Christ will return. All you hear today is exactly what Peter is saying. If there is a God when will he return? It amazes me that reading the Bible is like it was written for today. To see how the things going on then are also going on now. That in itself tells me that God knew all along what he intends to do.
Sure the world can try and justify this and say well history does repeat itself. I say stop looking for answers to everything by the worlds standards. We know who rules the world but only for a short time. We are in this world but we are not of it. If you want to know what's going to happen in the future read the Bible. It has everything you need and all the answers.

Good morning everyone and I hope you are all having a great day so far. I am just starting my morning and thinking how good it is to know even though sometimes I am not very happy with this old planet of ours it is just a temporary lodging. This is not my home. I am just visiting. I look forward to the day when I will have my permanent residence in heaven and some day back on a new heaven and earth with Jesus. Won't that be wonderful no more heartache no more tears no more wars. We will all be together with God.

After having read the post from ping about her dog today I just want to thank God for all the animals in our lives that have given us such great memories. I believe all dogs go to heaven and of course all other pets. They make us smile. They make us laugh and they love us unconditionally.

I thought I would ask has anyone ever been to the holy land? I want to go and I think I will just believe that God will give me this desire. I can not immagine how I would feel to walk where Jesus walked. The Lord knows the desires of our hearts and I will just wait until the day comes and I will go.

A special blessing today for this site again. I am glad to see God at work here and that he is blessing the site owners and it's members. The bible states when two or more are gathered in his name then he is in the midst of them. I know as a family of sweepstakers we are in his midst because we invite him here. We are under his umbrella. I feel it each day and know he is behind this thread and the site owners for allowing me to share Gods word.

Today is my baby girl #1's birthday. So I speak blessings into her life and ask that she will be protected. I also speak blessings into baby girl #2's life also. God has blessed me with 2 very beautiful very bright young women who make me very proud to be their mom.

I just read todays verse and it made me realize again how perfect Christ is. He knew no sin. He became as we were so that he could know what it is to struggle with the temptations we have here. Can you imagine wanting to come here knowing what he was going to face. He loves us that much. He took all our sin and died for us. That is unconditional love.
He knows when you are hurting because he hurt. He knows when you are feeling overwhelmed because he was overwhelmed. He knows you.
