I need a win. Would love to win something nice, I see so many winning two and three times a day. Can't even win anything once a week or two

Ok, so I will take a moment to whine. I'm new to the sweepstakes hobby. I've been doing them since about March. I've only accounted for 2 wins in that time frame. I know I won something but I haven't won anything in the last 2 months and I enter about 50 / day. I only enter contests where i'm interested in the actual prize and I have never won an IW game. Any tips on winning those? I have almost avoided those since I never win those.
azandy77 50 a day & no IW's? You sure you aren't a regular sweeper - most of us start out entering *everything* hoping *something* will hit, lol!!! We don't get picky until after we win something ridiculous and start winnowing the wheat from the chaff.
It took me 6 *months* of daily, everything I could find entering to win so at 2 months with 2 wins, you are ahead of the curve!
As to not winning IW's? What's the joke? Oh yeah:
Oh Lord, why won't you let me win LOTTO? I've been praying to you for 5 years now!

After years and years of entering and winning sweeps, I think this is my biggest dry spell ever. My computer is pretty much dead, so I'm having to enter through the iPad I won a while back. Not sure if that is making the difference. This last month I stopped using safari auto fill just in case it was not working right. I'm getting desperate for a win!

Just thought I'd add my two cents as someone who wins regularly. First off do all types of sweeps (one time, instant, daily (and do those consistently), Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, & blogs. Use more then one site to find sweeps, also do your own searches (try different wording to see what works best for you such as what prize you are looking for + the word giveaway, also "enter to win" and your zip or state to find sweeps that are local to you, also set up Google Alerts for these things so new ones will be delivered to your inbox daily.
Anyway, I hope this helps some of you and good luck!
Wanted to add one more thing. If you don't already, be sure to connect with as many sweepers on FB by becoming friends and also joining the many sweeps groups. I find out about a lot of sweeps this way that I don't see listed on the sites.

I'm going to whine a bit. I enter daily about 4 hours a day. Haven't won in months. See the same ppl win daily. Wish I could win at least something monthly, it would help. I thank SA for the sweeps. Love the site Praying for a win soon.Thanks

I want to whine too. I enter enter and enter some more, but I'm just not winning lately. Well, I won a discounted cruise. I think that counts as a coupon and not a prize though.

Ok, time to whine. Last night I was complaining to my husband about not winning and he said, "Time for you to go to the whiners wall!" It's funny because he's not a sweeper. It just seems like August is always a bad month for me. I put so much time into sweeps. Sometimes I just want to give up but then I think about all the things I could be missing out on. I guess I'm a true sweeps addict. Hope this whining helps!

I would love to get on a winning streak. I have won a few things, and a couple have been good wins and am very grateful. I see others who win seemingly daily and often multiple times a day. I win maybe once or twice a year and put a lot of time into this daily. I don't know what the trick is, but there must be one for those who win consistently. Whatever it is, I am not doing it apparently.

Whining! Something I'm good at. Count me in: I don't want a baseball cap with some company's logo on it, or a 10 cent box of candy or 20% percent off coupon. I want a real prize! I want the heavens to open up and pour down vacations, electronics, cars, houses. Crap I can sell to fix my broken car, broken teeth, broken furniture, broken clothes, busted bank account. Woops. Whining seems to have worked for me, although I had already won the Lipton minutes I thought they were useless. Boy was I ever wrong.
ok, first time whiner here.. I bust my hump entering these sweeps for several hours every stinkin' day. Haven't won anything substantial in months.. No blog wins, no instant wins, nothing on Facebook..absolute zilch. Oh and don't even get me started on the ShopYourWay entries. Those things are even more timely & difficult to enter with the codes, the questions, and the shares and you finally get through the 35+ ones they throw at you each day only to see that you haven't even won $5. I'm fed up, I'm exhausted, disheartened, depressed....all that and more! Do I stop now? Please Lady Luck, Universe, Angels & all Good Positive Energy Things please shine some Good Fortune my way. :-(

I need to spend a few minutes whining. I wake up everyday thinking...ok today I am going to win something, just to be crushed once again. I won some nice things last year but this year has totally sucked. I will keep entering though and just maybe one day...I will get that winning email. sigh
My biggest win came after a loooooong dry spell, when I kept entering, day after day, wondering where my wonderful winning streak of 3+ wins a week {sometimes 3+ in the same day} went to!
Change it up, time of day or order, and/or take a day or so off and come back to "reset" your timing - I usually do that after a month or so of blah and it *seems* to work for me!

It's the end of the month. Everyone is posting their wins and talking about mail box surprises. Ugh.. That means it's time to gripe. I have hit it hard the last two months so I hoped I would finally win something from trolling SA. But nope. I did win a couple blog giveaways this month I found just searching on google. Prize value about $20 each. Better than nothing. And SA is definitely the best sweeps site. Hands down. But do you guys ever look back at the hours spent trying to win, and think I could have used that time to learn German-Knit a sweater-master yoga asanas-take an online class-take a nap??? Even so, I am sure I'll be back at it tomorrow...
