Sears/SUWR {ShopYourWayRewards} Sweeps: Big Pain = HUGE Opportunity.

Hi again, duffinvt. Glad you've started winning. I've found that they get easier to enter as you get more practice. I can't think of any reason why you're not getting the shares entries, sorry. It seems to be a common problem, I've seen a number of complaints about it. I just found the solution that works for me by trial & error, they never responded to anything I sent them. Be sure to keep your eye on the expiration dates of your points. I think it's a year, so you should be OK saving for Christmas. My next goal is new tires for the car. Good luck.
 
Yes, you will get an email and also see the win in the list of sweepstakes in addition to seeing the points increase in your rewards total at the top right of the page.
 
Hello! This is my first post on this forum. I just started "sweeping" a few days ago and have gotten pretty deep pretty quickly ;) Are there a few people who would like to be my friend on SYWR so that we can share things with each other for the sweeps that require you to do so? Thanks!

I did a search for your name but there are like 8000 people with that name I hope I followed the right one :) mine is Tyneisha Fondren (there should only be one of those lol) and followed you back too @kelpants
 
The new sweeps where you ask a friend to like, want or have an item you have shared are confusing and difficult to enter. Anyone have any hints to make these easier to enter?

Have quite a few friends, and post links with the item you want them to participate on as a status or share on your main feed, and just ask! That's what I do and it works pretty well :)

After you share you can also try copying the URL link to the product and sending it in a chat message to individual friends asking them to like want or have it, I do that too :)
 
Sounds good ! Will try it. Seems these, you need to go to your own page where the item has been shared and like it there. Going directly to the item doesn't work. I think I sent a friend request to you. Maybe I can chat with you at Sears when one of these contests comes up. We can help each other out !
 
I need friends there too Dianaokay. :) How do you find friends there? I try to follow people but I only have 5 friends to like my stuff and I don't know how I got those friends...lol. Just started entering these and I won 15,000 pts. this morning. Woo hoo!
 
I have been doing these sweeps for a while and have had some nice wins. I'm going to use my saved points to do the majority of my Christmas shopping. If anyone would like to be friends on SYWR, my name is Wendy Cole. Thanks!
 
I have recently started entering these, but I've noticed that all the big points sweeps say, "The ten (10) catalogs that receive the most “follows” from the SYW community will make it into the “final judging”, where one (1) winner will be selected based on the creativity, message, theme and community enthusiasm for his or her entry." I'm guessing this means it is not a random drawing, right? And to get follows, you probably need friends? I'm trying to figure out if it is worth entering the bigger points contests or better to do the smaller ones since I'm just starting & don't have any friends who are follwoing me. Any advice would be welcome. Thank you!
 
The big contests with the judged catalogs take lots of time and talent. I do admire them, but just cannot justify the time involved. I tried it and found it too much work. Also, I don't really like to ask people to follow my catalogs. I'll stick to the smaller sweeps as they add up over time.
 
Are these actually random draws? Not the contests, just the regular ones. But I've got like 2500 entries and 3 wins. A grand total of $12. Yet when I have gone through the winners, I see the same people over and over again. Until today, now I only see one page of winners. I enter everything I'm eligible for, I get my 2 extra entries, and I'm starting to wonder if I'm missing something.
 
I did not win for a long time and then won two sweeps in one day. I just enter a bunch of sweeps and forget it for a couple of days. Don't drive yourself crazy over it. SYWR sweeps are not for everyone - and that is perfectly OK ! They are time-consuming and can be complicated (as in the ones you have to get a friend to like or want a product). Only you can decide it is worth your while to continue with them. If you do, hang in there! You will win eventually!
 
I also won a few when the sweeps started but haven't won in the last 6 months!! When it started it was easy to win but now many many people play so it is very hard to win.

i have been entering these contests and win regularly, usually once every 7 to 10 days but it's been about 20 days since last win. wonder if i am doing something wrong?
