Remember Fizzies

wow im silly. I thought fizzies were those bath balls, you put in the bathtub and they fizz, and make bubbles, turning the water different colors.

I love anything in Root Beer.

Do you remember Dots? I saw them the other week in a store.
Or Bottle caps? (those little wax bottles and you bit the cap off and there was liquid inside?
Or how about the wax red lips?

Those were all wonderful treats and a great value at the time. I remember them all. Most of them
are still available online at: http://www.oldtimecandy.com/ Sometimes I get lucky and can get them at the local Dollar General. Remember those big Slo Poke suckers and those candy lipsticks wrapped in silver and gold foil with that kinda semi-hard but creamy lipstick candy inside.

If you were born after the 60's you probably didn't enjoy these great treats as a kid.

I will always miss tutti-fruiti pop tarts (in the psychedelic box) no other pop tart mixed fruit flavor has ever tasted as good...

You can still find those around at quite a few stores.

You can still get these, but I remember that these were big for awhile.

Remember, "Garbage Pail Kids" and "Wacky Packages"?

I remember Zotz! I love all the old timey candy. Takes me back to the good ole' days!!!

My nephew Jimmy Lee has all of the first edition of the Garbage Pail Kids ~ He use to love them! They are in a photo album ~ my sister, Pam, kept them put up for him. They are out of the package, but the package is still with them. They still have some unopened packages also, I think

I bet alot of those card, especially the unopened packages, are worth some bucks!!

What I really miss are "Choco-Lite" plates of chocolate!!

I don't remember those  ~ the pains of being young!!!

They quit making Leo clove sticks which were one of my very favorite growing up! I used to sneak into my Grandpa's drawer and get those ~ amazingly enough there were always plenty the next time I came  They were in there with his watches that he used to fix ~ I now own a few of those watches that were passed down to my Momma :)

Those were yummy! Too bad they don't make them anymore. I have heard that the Milka Luflee Alpenmilch from GermanDeli.com are as close as you can get and some say better.

Nestle claims that they still sell them in Canada under the name "Aero" something or other, but they are definitely not the same. We get our German chocolate right from Germany. We brought about 40+ pounds of it back in March after visiting my family, but the Milka one isn't made the same. The Milka bubbles are on the sticky side (I don't know how else to describe it). Choco-Lite was just blown up with air. I can still remember what it tasted like!! :crazytongue:
