Prayer Of The Day

There is power in the name Jesus say the name and demons will flee. So when you are struggling say the name Jesus shout it out and watch how quickly you will feel better. And also put on some praise and worship music and have church Amen.

Be blessed and be a blessing

Know that God is in control.

Only God gives inward peace,
and I depend on him.
God alone is the mighty rock
that keeps me safe,
and he is the fortress
where I feel secure.
God saves me and honors me.
He is that mighty rock
where I find safety.

Trust God, my friends,
and always tell him
each one of your concerns.
God is our place of safety.

We humans are only a breath;
none of us are truly great.
All of us together weigh less
than a puff of air.
Don’t trust in violence
or depend on dishonesty
or rely on great wealth.

I heard God say two things:
“I am powerful,
and I am very kind.”
The LORD rewards each of us
according to what we do.

Psalm 62.5-12

I thank my heavenly Father for providing for my every need. He has never left me nor has he forsaken me. I have been without a job and wondering how will I get through but geese what he took care of me. My husband and I were both out of work but we both found jobs and we have always made it through to the other side. So if you find yourself in a similar situation put your trust in him. I promise it does work.

Philippians 4
1THEREFORE, MY brethren, whom I love and yearn to see, my delight and crown (wreath of victory), thus stand firm in the Lord, my beloved.
2I entreat and advise Euodia and I entreat and advise Syntyche to agree and to work in harmony in the Lord.

3And I exhort you too, [my] genuine yokefellow, help these [two women to keep on cooperating], for they have toiled along with me in [the spreading of] the good news (the Gospel), as have Clement and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the Book of Life.

4Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, gladden yourselves in Him]; again I say, Rejoice!(A)

5Let all men know and perceive and recognize your unselfishness (your considerateness, your forbearing spirit). The Lord is near [He is [a]coming soon].

6Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

7And God's peace [shall be yours, that [c]tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall [d]garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

8For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them].

9Practice what you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and model your way of living on it, and the God of peace (of [e]untroubled, undisturbed well-being) will be with you.

10I was made very happy in the Lord that now you have revived your interest in my welfare after so long a time; you were indeed thinking of me, but you had no opportunity to show it.

11Not that I am implying that I was in any personal want, for I have learned how to be [f] content (satisfied to the point where I am not disturbed or disquieted) in whatever state I am.

12I know how to be abased and live humbly in straitened circumstances, and I know also how to enjoy plenty and live in abundance. I have learned in any and all circumstances the secret of facing every situation, whether well-fed or going hungry, having a sufficiency and enough to spare or going without and being in want.

13I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who [g]infuses inner strength into me; I am [h]self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency].

14But it was right and commendable and noble of you to contribute for my needs and to share my difficulties with me.

15And you Philippians yourselves well know that in the early days of the Gospel ministry, when I left Macedonia, no church (assembly) entered into partnership with me and opened up [a debit and credit] account in giving and receiving except you only.

16For even in Thessalonica you sent [me contributions] for my needs, not only once but a second time.

17Not that I seek or am eager for [your] gift, but I do seek and am eager for the fruit which increases to your credit [the harvest of blessing that is accumulating to your account].

18But I have [your full payment] and more; I have everything I need and am amply supplied, now that I have received from Epaphroditus the gifts you sent me. [They are the] fragrant odor of an offering and sacrifice which God welcomes and in which He delights.

19And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

20To our God and Father be glory forever and ever (through the endless eternities of the eternities). Amen (so be it).

21Remember me to every saint (every born-again believer) in Christ Jesus. The brethren (my [j]associates) who are with me greet you.

22All the saints (God's consecrated ones here) wish to be remembered to you, especially those of Caesar's household.

23The grace (spiritual favor and blessing) of the Lord Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) be with your spirit. Amen (so be it).

Displaying the treasures of Your work,
Jesus, You invited me to follow You,
To sell my goods, to give to the poor,
And to completely submit Myself to You.
Desires for wealth leads to greed,
Satisfaction never being reached.
He who seeks no earthly possessions
Is free of all avarice aspirations.
Jesus, edify my weak human nature,
To resist unnecessary commodities,
Those classified as evident luxury.
May I subdue all greedy tendencies!

We are all so blessed even if you don't have wealth or fancy clothes or a big house we are all blessed. Take the time to count your blessings.

I am going to start this week by mentioning one thing a day I am thankful for. I am thankful for my husband who is my provider and protector. I feel safe when I'm around him he is a blessing from God. Before he met me he told me God had shown him he would marry someone like me who had a handicap and he would have to go out of his way to take care of me. So when he met me he knew I was the one. I don't drive because of my eyesight. I am legally blind but I can see.

Isn't God wonderful.

A great one for this morning Lord thank you for this site. I know this may seem silly but to be able to enjoy this hobby at my leisure is such a blessing. So I am very thankful to everyone who keeps it up and ruining.

I am so thankful for my daughters and I thank God for loaning them to me. When they were babies that is how I used to pray. I know they are yours Lord but thank you for allowing me to be their mother.

Now that they are grown I still say that but I also pray that they will be drawn closer to the Lord and the other day I got confirmation that this prayer is being answered. A coworker of my youngest daughter told her that God had shown her that I was praying for this exact thing. God does hear and answer our prayers Amen.

Today I am thankful for my health. I am pretty healthy. I was born 49 years ago today and I was born with cataracts. I have vision problems but I can still see. I often think of Paul and how he said he had a thorn in the flesh and it makes me think it could have been his eyes. Just like Paul I know that God allowed this for a reason and God does have a plan for my life. Maybe if I had perfect eyesight I would have never come to know my savior the way I do Amen.

Today I am thankful for God's written word and His promises. I am thankful that I have the ability to make choices and to ask God for the wisdom to make the right ones.

I am thankful for my family and my friends.

I am thankful that I am able to write these words here (even though I have not been here in a while), so that they might inspire someone else in some way.

I am thankful that God has shown me that it matters NOTHING what other's opinions of me are. It is only HIM that matters to me only. God matters and MY OWN happiness matters, nobody else's opinions factor into my life anymore.

I am thankful that through God I am learning and growing more and more every day.

I am TRULY thankful for all that I have been blessed with, the good times and the bad and for all that I ever will be in Christ Jesus!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!!!!

Wow.....did I kill the whole thread?

I really don't think so.

Hello everyone well I was out of town for a couple days and had a nice Thanksgiving with my daughter. So today I am thankful for safe travel and my God protects me allways. He does watch over me and although it is appointed unto man once to die which means I will die someday I know that I can trust God to be with me always and so can you if you ask Amen.

I hope you all had a great day yesterday. Be blessed and be a blessing

If you knew how much I needed this today! I am going through some personal things and this is one of the answers that I was looking for ~ it is amazing how God will provide the answers when you least expect it~ I think my inner peace is coming! I just have to turn it over to the Lord!!

Lord ~

YOU know my inner stuggle, I give it over to YOU and ask that YOU take control and give me the peace that passes all human understanding! I know that YOU are in control and that when I try to take control, I mess things up ~ please show me the way to go and forgive me for the human in me that thinks that I can fix things myself. YOU know what is going to happen and everything will happen according to YOUR plans! Thank YOU for all the blessings in my life ~ there are so many! Make me more aware of them everyday!! Amen!

I am so glad that people are finding confort and support in the words written here just as I do. The Lord's words are powerful. They are his love letters to us.

As I start this day and weak I give glory to my Father above. I will praise him always and know he is Lord. Nothing can separate me from his love because he loves me unconditionally. I think about this and know I will make it through any thing that life brings my way. Amen

Be blessed and be a blessing

Psalm 18:2
The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower.

Amen and amen
