After this bailout plan fiasco, I have decided to take a stance. Maybe it is a bad decision, it probably is, but I am voting against all the encumbants. I am tired of the government being for the politician and their special interests and against us common folk. It is time Washington understood the middle class. It is time the government was made up of middle class citizens. Average day Joe doesn't stand a chance to become a Senator or Congressman. He can't afford it.
I also think debates are a joke. I learned nothing about these people or how they plan on doing anything.
There was one question that stuck in my mind and both answers to it as well. The moderator asked what the candidates wouldn't be able to accomplish as a result of the huge Wall Street Bail out. Biden's first remark was we won't be able to double Foreign Assistance. :cussing: WHAT???? Hello, American's are suffering under huge tax burdens, out of control gas prices and over all inflation. But, yes, please, double Foreign Assistance. If their health care plan hadn't sent me running, that would have. Palin didn't even answer the question. She went on and on about nothing. So, Ralph Nader is starting to look really good these days.
I don't like Palin. I don't like her policy decisions. I wouldn't want to be her friend. She offers me nothing except fear. I know some of you are excited about the election. I am excited about the end of GWB's term. I just don't think that either of these teams are the answer.
