I am asking our members what their experiences are with Fishbowlprizes.com and Jane.com.

They both have many sweepstakes listed on SA and Plus. We want to make sure that they
are awarding the prizes that they list.

We are doing this in an effort to improve quality. Thank you for your responses.

I have entered lots of contests on Fishbowl and never won, so I don't know if they come through with their prizes - however, I did win a contest on Jane in February and received the promised prize quickly.

Fishbowl - I don't enter them because they just don't look right to me.
- If you continue to list them, please start the title with "Fishbowl..." so people who want to skip them can do it easily.

Jane.com - I enter them but have not won.

I've entered Fishbowl hesitantly a few times because they make it so simple....never won, and I
can't say that I've been Spammed for my entry but I agree something doesn't look quite right.

Ken, thank you for the opportunity to provide input. I quit entering Fishbowl a long time ago because the site seems a bit squirrely, i.e. the layout just doesn't seem credible. I look at the number of sweeps they host, but I never have read of anybody winning and that seems to defy the odds considering that SA has tens of thousands of members and many who communicate their wins. I have never entered at Jane.com.

I have "won" twice on Fishbowl but have never received prizes for either. I have heard other people say they actually have received their prizes too so I feel it is hit/miss here. I keep entering anyway...not as often though and I try to pay attention to which contests I enter.

Jane, I have never won with them. However, based off of clothing/accessory orders I have made with them (everything arrives promptly!) I would vouch for them and continue to enter their contests in hopes of winning. I trust them.

I have never won on Fishbowl or Jane so can't say with certainty but I do not enter the Fishbowl ones anymore for the same reason as others, something seems "fishy" ... Also wondering what your opinion of Giveaway Rocks is ... has anyone won from them or received prizes?

I have entered many times on both sites. I was a winner from fishbowl.com, but never received my prize and never won anything on Jane.com. NOTE**On fishbowl.com you have to be careful when you enter the contests because not all contests are the US. I also was very cautious entering fishbowl.com when it first appeared on SA.com, because it looked fishy(pun intended).

I've never seen a Jane sweeps so no opinion. FishBowl has always looked fishy so I never enter.

I have entered many, never won. But, they are so easy to enter I feel we need to give them a chance. The idea of prefacing them with fishbowl is a good idea though.

The flavor of the day for some sites is entry simplicity - email only. fishbowlprizes one of those sites and I'm leery of sites that don't readily make the rules available and have an email only entry. It appears to be an email capturing application with no notification of that fact to the user. You might want to review this: https://apps.shopify.com/fishbowl-prizes - - - and then click on -> (Fishbowl - Email Capture, Prize Giveaways, and ... - Shopify App Store) You can also find information if you Google fishbowlprizes. I watched the You Tube video found there and came away with the impression that a sweep entrant is dealing directly with the Sponsor via the fishbowl widget, and that fishbowlprizes isn't involved in prize fulfillment.

I've entered a few of the fishbowl sweeps, but won't be entering anymore of them. Thanks for this thread as it caused me to do a little research and I wasn't impressed with what I found.

There is another firm doing this also. I can't remember their name. I sent them an email some time ago regarding rules for a sweep and the reply I received disavowed responsibility and claimed they were not involved and that the sweep and rules were the responsibility of the Sponsor.

I have won a %off coupon and a 'reading', neither of which I claimed. I do believe I get a fair amount of junk emails from the Fishbowl entries. Many go straight to Spam by the Gmail filter. So NOT a fan. I haven't entered Jane or Giveaway Rocks.

I won and received my prize from eFashion of Canada even though I'm in MS. Some of their contests do look fishy but I think most people can tell the difference.

I have entered a few of the Fishbowl ones, but they make me a little nervous. I've never won anything, but I don't really trust them, either. Jane.com seems pretty legit. I like their emails and Pinterest boards, though I've never won any of their contests.
