BIG WIN !!!! have questions

Congratulations on a great win! I just won a grand prize of a trip to Hawaii and they sent an affidavit and travel release forms that had to be signed and notarized. I went to my bank and their notary helped me for free. There was a W-9 form that is for tax purposes. That was a bit confusing but the bank helped out.
 
What a wonderful way to start the year!

Just remember to make a copy of the forms for yourself and send them registered mail or some way that there is a tracking system.
 
Holy cow!! That's a SUPER awesome win!! Let us know if it all goes thru and you get the check!! Guess those silly ole candy bars aren't going to mean as much now...lol!!! Congrats!!
 
It probably means that if you follow all of the rules, and get all of the information in on time, you ARE the winner...Happened with me and a Smart Car!
 
That is really awesome!!! I have to explain to my family that sometimes you win some minor prize you don't really want... because you are trying for the big cash prize! Do not forget to bank some of the money towards the taxes. You may need to adjust your taxes or your spouses taxes where you work, or make estimated tax payments in order to keep the government happy.

Congrats! Only thing to remember after you get your forms filled out and then the money, UNCLE SAM will be around next year for his share.
