Fantastic win! I have had to fill out those forms and what they usually want to know is that you are over 18 (or 21), that you are not affiliated with the sponsor (i.e. you don't work for Sears) and you will need to give them your social security number for the tax documents (the money will be counted as income.) Depending on the contest, you may also have to sign a waiver allowing the sponsor to reveal your name as the winner (on their website or wherever.) If you provide that information to them, you should be good to go!
Congrats and enjoy!!
Just read everything carefully... and you probably need to get the forms notarized. Your bank should have a notary. And make sure you send things by the date specified. I always make copies for my own records. And then be really, really happy!!!!!! Congrats!
What a wonderful way to start the year!
Just remember to make a copy of the forms for yourself and send them registered mail or some way that there is a tracking system.
:headbang: this is my first big win, ive never had to fill forms out or w9s before so im wondering if the email says your a possiable grand prize winner does that mean as long as i get the forms in then im the winner, im so nervous about all this i want to make sure i do everything right, so if any one has info on this and what i should do, id love to hear from u, the last thing i want to do is screw this up.
