Arkansas under a Winter Storm Warning...!

I watch Shark Week every year!! I can't let Jimmie watch it though ~ he freaks out and we would never go back...he thinks sharks are drawned to him! Caitlyn thinks everything is a jellyfish and won't get in the water! She sat on the beach and sent text messages and talked on the cellphone the whole time! She was mad because I wouldn't let her stay in the condo by herself...teenagers!!!!

Ashelyn loves it...she is like me, she is ready to get in and stay! We buried that child in the sand up to her neck, we chased crabs, built sandcastles...she is as ready to go back as I am!!

Jellyfish like to attack my oldest son. They're getting more and more reluctant to go in and opt for the pool more and more. We used to reach down and pull crabs out of the water and throw them at my cousin and watch her go screaming out of the water!

 Hard to imagine that you are getting all that snowy weather Tammy. So sorry.. I am in the middle of fixin up a barbeque as it is such a nice day here. Lots of :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
Barbequed ribs, baked beans, cole slaw...... C'mon over!

I can't believe it either Pam!! I want to come to Coos Bay with you!

You guys are funny. You can tell you don't get snow much. Anything under a foot of snow to me is disappointing. If this dang rain here were snow, we'd have five feet of snow by the time it's done. I wish it were. Our backyard is turning into a pond! I love being snowed in, opening the garage door with all the snow falling in and not being able to get out because it's well above what a snow blower can go through :crazytongue:

I am the same way. If it snows, make it a big one. 4 inches is a nuisance! (Right Sticks!)

My backyard is under water. With the Great New England Ice Berg melting and 4 inches of rain, it is a real mess. I love the snow, I love the cold, I love winter. I am soooooo ready for Spring though.

I think, if it had been a snow event, we would have ended up with 3+ feet of snow. It came down so hard today the noise was deafening. What a nice sound of Spring!

We get a taste of Spring and then it gets jerked away from us...it is a cruel cruel world!!!

One inch of rain equals one foot of snow. Don't you just love when you get so much snow, the world is completely white, it's so quite and calm, and you can barely hear the plows driving through it. :sunny:

No, no, and NO!!!!! Geez! You people are crazy! I have to admit it is pretty for the first 10 minutes or so until the idiots get out and drive on it and it turns gray and ugly. Then the kids track more of it inside than is outside to begin with...yuck!!!!

Tammy, you just are not looking at it in the right way. Snow is great. Nothing is better than going outside at night after a big snowfall. The sky is bright and pink and you can see everything. It's peaceful and eerily quiet. It is the most amazing, relaxing time. I love taking the dogs out when it is like this. They romp in it and roll in it and I enjoy the beauty of it. (Until they turn it all yellow!)

You need to take a deep breath, put on your snow pants and drop to the ground and make some angels! That will get you into the spirit! :headbang:

Shoes stay outside the door! Then I put them on a boot tray inside the door after they get cleaned up! No shoesies allowed in the house! :nono: Well, I guess I can't make guests take off their shoes; but wiping the feet is a must or else!! :cussing: :crazytongue:

We don't get enough snow for it to be quiet...everybody makes a trail for Wal-Mart! I swear~ it gets on my nerves so bad, I will hear their cars spinning out trying to get up the hill in front of my house. I understand the ones that HAVE to go to work because Jimmie HAS to ~ no choice! BUT people come on! Wal-Mart will still be there when the snow is gone. Why risk taking your kids out on this mess??? I just don't understand...if we had been snowed in for 2 weeks maybe risk going to a grocery store, but we don't even get snowed in for a couple of days anymore! It has been years ~ thank goodness!!!!

No ~ not on their shoes...on their clothes! I guess I could make them strip before they came back in :crazytongue: That might make them think twice before going out the next time it snowed

Oh, up here, all these yeeha's have to have 4x4's. There's more accidents with those in the winter than any other vehicle. Why? Because these ding dongs think it's some miracle vehicle that will never slide, spin out, etc. They don't seem to realize that you need to be on the gas for the 4x4 to work, and that it doesn't work on ice. IDGITS!!

To bad they don't install brains in them there 4x4's

Gee, I thought most 4 x 4's had bigger brains than most humans!

I can see that I am going to have to send you a picture of my MRI... I will have to get a copy back from Harvard where they are still studying it as one of the most impressive scans they have ever seen! They didn't realize that a human could have such a high IQ and seem so normal

They might be sending it on tour now...it IS THAT impressive!!!
