I am a newbie to sweeps and hearing all this jingle-jangle of this convention in August. I will be in San Antonio for work. I usually work from home training car dealerships around the country, but there is a 16 dealer group in San Antonio that purchased a bunch of products and they are going to have me go out there in March... to bad the convention wasn't next month! That would have been perfect!!! My hotel and flight would have already been paid for. I will let everyone know where to eat! Lol... I will come back with a full report on San Antonio for you guys...
This year is a little crazy for me to plan a trip to the convention this year, so I might have to pass since there is only a few spots left and I really don't have the money right now (unless I recieve a check in the mail tomorrow from a sweeps) lol... (you can only hope!)
I am getting married August 3rd.. and I am not sure what we are doing for the honeymoon at this point. Also I have my bachorlette party in Vegas in July... My birthday is in May and I plan on going to Boston in the spring to celebrate... and Thanksgiving and Christmas I spend in Flagstaff, AZ. I am all over the place this year! If the convention is being held in NH next year, I will go to that. One of my company offices is located in NH and I might be able to get the flight and hotel covered for work. Sure would be nice to have it in Vegas though, I get free hotel rooms at the Bellagio through a friend of mine that works there.

Free Rooms at the Bellagio? What!!!! Ohhh heck yea... My b-day is 4th of July. this year I'm turning 30 and am trying to make arrangements to have my party in Vegas... What's up on some hook up from you girl???? PM me if you could possilbly work something out...

ohh lucky you.... one of my best friends lives about 4 hours fromthere.. she is having some guy take her up to SA to stay with us that weekend.. I can't wait.. she is just as "crazy" as me.. that's why i love her sooooo.... miss under, question for ya??? what are you gonna wear in SA? I have no clue on the weather and since the banquet thingy is going to be a buffet and in the day, are you dressing up like we would at the banquet dinner? just curious so I don't go all out if no one else really is... thanks in advance.

How much is the hotel and the entry fee for the convention? I have a round trip airline voucher, but can't spend much.

I think the hotel is $125 a night and the convention fee is $185 and like $60 ifyou just want to go to the banquet dinner only.... check the convention website to be certain: http://www.lonestarstampede.com/

I so wish I could join you all for the convention. I will be in San Antonio April 6th-11th for work. I am staying at a hotel off the riverwalk called Hawthorne Inn. Their website : www.hawthorn-riverwalk.com has a list of all the restaurants on the riverwalk and all the attractions you can go to. When I get to San Antonio, I will let you know how it is. I am spending my weekend in Austin since I am flying out of there, but I hope to go to the Alamo while I am there. I hope you all have lots of fun!!
