Hey everyone...I've been in the dumps lately because all year long I've been really trying to win one of these systems. I'm just wondering how many of my fellow SA sweepers have won either an Xbox 360 or Playstation 3 video game system? I think maybe continued positive thoughts, as well as reading about some of your great wins will help give me the added boost to hopefully win one of these awesome systems. Thanks Guys.

I won both, sorta - a PSP instead of a PS3 - plus a WII.

It's all a matter of entering every sweeps that offers those prizes as often as allowed, and...

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.

The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize :laughing: - and be positive you will win.

Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.

I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!

Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!
 
Well just like Amyshuld said you have to believe you are going 'Win What You Want.' Last year I wanted the Wii for my kids, I Googled Wii Sweepstakes and found several sweeps, I used SA to find Wii Sweepstakes. When it was all over I had won a Wii and Wii Fit.

This year I focused on the PS3 used the same technique and won a Best Buy gift card of which I used to purchase my kids a PS3. Now I gotta go and buy the games but I don't mind, I saved $300-$400 on the console.
 
In 1997 I got two Nindendo DS Lites. I am already working on winning next years Christmas for my kids, once I win it it goes in the closet til time to open presents.
 
:sunny: About this time last year I had a PS3 and a Wii delivered from 2 separate sweeps on the same day. I sold them both on Craigs List on Christmas eve. I was sorry that I had sold the Wii, but my neighbor wanted it so badly for his wife. (he didn't have time to shop) Anyway, I started entering again for Wii's and within a short time I had snagged one for myself. There are so many sweeps for the game systems. If you devote a few minutes each day entering for one, I'll bet you can win one. Best of Luck to you!
 
I won the x-box from Coke Sweepstakes, although I haven't received it yet. I did get the confirminge-mail and have never had any problems with Coke, so I hope it arrives soon. My advice to you is just keep trying, this is the first game system I've won and I've entered hundreds of them. Don't give up.
 
last year at this time i won a wii,i was feeling down because it seemed to me that everyone was winning some kind of system but not me.so i entred all the sweeps that i could find for any system and forgot about those entries until i got an e-mail that i had won one.and when i did i cryed becausde i was so happy.good luck to you.
 
Thanks for the good luck wishes....I did forget the sweepers credo of enter it, then forget it....it's just frustrating because I've had such a dry spell where I've not won anything for a long time...and I really would like to experience what it would be like to get a surprise win via email or an affy
 
Maybe it is just a few of us, but I used to win all year long. Mostly small prizes, but none the less wins.

Some days I feel desperate to win anything now, even a stick of gum would be encouraging. The only thing I can suggest is that we keep plugging at it.

CONGRATS Missunder, you have won a $5.00 bestbuy card, send me your addy and I will put it in the mail, why you ask, because no best buy around me and we are sweepers so we stick together and cheer each other on. So ring the bells, have a party, you won something.
 
I have never won either. Congrats to all who have. I want to win one for my Grandson. He is autistic but can play video games. He rocks and when playing He does not bite his arm which is scarred so much. The last games were a disaster I gave him since he found GameStop. He discovered he can trade and talk somewhat to other people there and usually ends up with little or nothing in the end as the trades are somewhat lopsided but it makes him happy. So we are doing thrift store games like the nintendo sweepstakes 64 stuff. Poor Grandma makes for a thrifty Grandma. A week ago I did not think I would see this Christmas but so far still here. I am so thankful for each hour, minute, second and I am gonna recover and win somethings nice. :)
