I have only been sweeping for about 9 months. As some of you know, I won a KY basket for my Mom (yeah, that went over good with my father)

Now I'm in real trouble. I mean SERIOUS trouble.

I enter my one sister who is in college for some of those girlie contests. You know, makeup, shampoo, that kind of crap. She's won a bunch of things and did really well in the Allure August daily giveaways. Being Asian, our skin tone is a little different, so some of the makeup didn't work and she gave it to her suitemates or to some of the other girls.

I get a call from her, she wants to see me. Before you go "awwww" We're talking come to her dorm so I can show her friends how to do contests. help me. She actually has it organized.. and I'm going to go to VT and she has a date AND a time planned. She's my sister for sure, as OCD as I am -- even has what she's going to serve for food and drinks. I told her I wanted a bottle of vodka. she wasn't amused :nono: :laughing:

Yellow skin tone maybe? Believe it or not ~ I have yellow skin tone and so does my sister, Karen. We have know clue where it comes from...if it wasn't for the fact that we look so much like our Daddy I would almost have to wonder...

When the KY basket come in, I was laughing and said that I almost entered her to the family. everyone stopped and looked at Dad. NOT a smart thing to say around him.

My father is very, very, VERY protective way about the girls. My father has 7 of them. My oldest sister is about to be engaged (she doesn't know it yet, he's going to ask her Christmas). My future BIL KNEW that he better get Dad's approval first. :laughing:

They could beat us senseless but if we ever even THOUGHT of touching them, we'd have to deal with Dad. :nono:

Loren, a bunch of giggly sexed-crazed females does NOT do it for me. :whistle: If I need some help, I'll call you. You can have them all except my sister. :crazytongue:

We went to the VT vs Virginia game a few weeks ago. They were all drooling over Michael. He use to be a model and really is hot. Everywhere we go, he turns heads. One of Song's suitemates said to Michael 'it's a shame you are gay.' I said 'I don't think it is!' Ha!

Ping, we're Thai, so our color is much more of a tan shade and the powder and other makeup junk was for someone with pale skin. Thai and Phillipeano's both have very dark skin.

I survived having 32 kids here last weekend, I can survive a bunch of co-eds. :laughing:
 
My oldest sister was very dark skin toned. She took after my mother. Dark hair, eyes, and skin and was so pretty. Then you have my sister, Karen and I, yellow skin tone, blonde hair and green eyes (for Karen) and hazel (for me). All three of us were different body types also ~ lol.

Karen has two grown daughters and one looked a lot like Pam did when she was little and the other more like herself and I. It was really strange. Noone would have ever have guess us sisters until they talked to us and learned our warped sense of humor ~ that was alway the giveaway with the three of us!!

Do you have any Welsh ancestry? Many native Welsh are rather dark. And of course the Irish who have Spanish blood (from the Spanish Armada wrecking in Ireland)

When I went to Thailand, I met most of my family for the first time. I am the spitting image of my uncle, my father's brother. And my cousin really looks like my Dad more than his Mom or his Dad. that was weird. :tongue2:
 
:sunny: How sweet of you to go and give sweeping lessons. Just be sure to tell the gals to come join us in the forum so we can see how they're doing with their sweeping.

It really wasn't that bad! Remember, I'm from a family of 12 and I think there were always about 20 kids in teh house all the time. We had the house everyone wanted to go to since my Mom was so cool. :headbang:

But we had help, all men that are now all on valium but we did fine. :laughing:

The only thing was funny was my brother is living with us and at one point he said he was going to call Mom and apologize for the amount of noise he made as a kid! Ha!!!!

Not only did I have my sister and her THREE suitemates but about 10 other girls!!!

Of course, the FIRST question I get is "where is Michael" :nono: :laughing:

Then we spend a few hours drinking and doing sweeps. By the way, a bunch of them watched Wife Swap. They asked if I was THAT insane.. I told them, I'm not mentally ill... yet :whistle:

Suddenly, there is KNOCK at the door. It's the dorm mother. Oh no. My sister, who has been drinking pretty darn heavily, goes "Oh it's ok, he's not really a guy... he's my brother and he's gay"

When I was 23 I had a girlfriend here in Seattle who was going to modeling academy ... I can't recall the name of it right now ... so on just a lark I donned my 3 piece suit and went with her to one of her classes. As I entered the room I had about 20 girls all wanting to know if I was the "instructor". Of course I had to confess that I wasn't... but the guy that was was an 19 year old black kid who, I have to say, was total "poetry in motion". He went on to become a VERY successful male model in the early 80's. He pestered me for 6 months to get into the trade! 6'2" 'eyes-a-blue' models are a rare commodity in the field.

Let me know when you hold another "dorm party" :crazytongue:

Michael did modeling in Asia mostly. He did a couple of Armani ads in China and their sales went up dramatically. He did a couple in America but of course, White America is too racist for an Asian model. :laughing:

When we were in NYC last year for the Spring Fashion shows, every party we went to they would ask "Who do you model for" and when he said "I don't" Agents were shoving their cards in his hands :laughing: :whistle:

It's really not as much fun as it seems. You have to watch what you eat, not eat for 2 or 3 days before shoots and sometimes use ex-lax and such, spend hours under hot lights, etc. Michael said he actually fainted once in China. They were doing a 'winter' shoot in the middle of July in full fur coats, suites, etc. The female model with him grabbed him and held him until someone could help her put him on the ground. He said it was awful because for the rest of the shoot, he had a violent headache and had to stand there with that 'sauve look' while he felt like throwing up. Really romantic, huh? :crazytongue:

If I have my way, I am NOT going back to the dorm. My sister is getting a laptop from Michael for Christmas. Her's is as crappy as mine (another subtle hint I need a new one, honey)

I'm a Red Bull and Vodka man,sister had lots of it chilled. I think she did. Don't remember too much past the 4th or 5th. I do remember my brother coming over from his dorm (they are the twins) and helping me back to his room. I think.
