This is what I got...........is it spam or whatever..........you know they had trouble with their sweep. I have not clicked on the download attachment, not until I know something concrete.

Its spam, I got the same thing a couple of weeks ago and later that day Reser put a message on their facebook page about it being a fraud. The contest doesn't even end until Sept. Sorry. :-(
 
I've gotten 10 from different addresses. It's a scam. Anytime it has weird phrasing or bad English "You are requested to provide your ID proof like driving license or
international passport photocopy" it's a scam. Nobody says ''like Driving License''
 
They want you to report those types of things to them if you can, here is the email they sent out:

This is a message from SCHIED, the marketing agency that works with Reser’s Fine Foods on the management and maintenance of ResersRacing.com.

We have been notified by some of our sweepstakes entrants that they have received fraudulent email and phone communications indicating that they have won the Reser’s Toyota Highlander Sweepstakes. If you have received a similar communication, please do not respond or engage.

The issue has been reported to the proper authorities, including the FBI, and we are working with them to identify and prosecute the perpetrators behind these fraudulent communications.
NOTE: If you have received a fraudulent email or phone communication and would like to help the authorities in their investigation, please forward the full email and include any other pertinent information to [email protected].
If you have given out personal information and have not yet communicated that to us, please reply to this email immediately so we may further assist you.

The sweepstakes has been suspended in order to further investigate the issue and how it occurred. An update will be posted at ResersRacing.com with more information as soon as it is available. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience.

Here's the problem. I tried forwarding it and it came back as containing a potential threat, so it wasn't accepted. How can you stop the spammers when you who are investigating it won't accept the fake emails? DUH!

Same thing happened to me. Removed the attachment & it went thru. Hope this helps!
 
I just got one to ����������
 
I tried forwarding the same fraudulent emails to them as they requested and they were also returned. I suspect that their database was hacked and that anyone who entered this giveaway has had their information stolen including the password they sued to enter. This may not be Reser's fault, but rather the promotional company they hired to run the giveaway. Either way, they should be more forthright as to what has happened. I suggest to anyone who entered to change your passwords. Stay safe!
 
i've keep getting them from different addresses, and when i try to forward them to them, they are returned. giving up now.
