Won on Amazon a Commercial Blender

oh wow, it is blowing my mind how many folks are winning on these Amazon giveaways! I haven't been as lucky- anyway, congrats!
 
I must be confused. Did you win the blender from Amazon or from some vendor using Amazon to conduct a giveaway? Thanks! I have been avoiding these thinking these sweeps and their respective prizes were not from the Amazon company and that they were merely a host for various vendors.
 
Never mind. Read rules and discovered Amazon is not a sponsor on these giveaways. They use our Amazon account info or shall I say obtain our Amazon account info to enter which is worrisome. Who are these companies that all of a sudden started conducting sweeps through Amazon therefore acquiring our Amazon account info to enter. Thoughts?
 
Entry requires an Amazon.com account. Amazon will ship prizes to winners. Your account information is not shared with ---------, except winners' names may be made public. Amazon is not a sponsor of this promotion. So although Amazon is not the sponsor the company does not get our info.

Nice! I've entered a few of those giveaways. You'll have to let us know if it really is as good as the video makes it seem.
 
I won the blender too! It looks really nice. I was also shocked to see the blender and not an empty box. These sweeps are legit - I also won a drone which I received pretty quickly.
 
My concern with some of these is the poor grammar. That's one of the signs to look out for in scam emails, so when I see poor grammar in one of these giveaways, I don't enter. Please let us know when you receive your prize.
