Woman's Day Contests

Does anyone else have problems with all the different Woman's Day contests? Once my info populates the fields and press "Enter" it takes forever for the form to enter and for the next screen to come up. I love the prizes but it seems to lock up my computer while I am waiting for Enter to go through.

Anyone else? Anyway to make it quicker? It is only the Woman's Day contests that I have trouble with so it is not my computer.
 
I have the same issue with the Woman's Day sweeps. :cussing: They are become extremely aggravating to enter, but I agree, I love the prizes that are offered.
 
I only have a problem when both of my kids are online at the same time I am, otherwise they are pretty quick.
 
yeah I have that at times too... so much so that I pretty much stopped entering them all together... esp. since I never won nor do I know anyone who has won from them. I will once in awhile see a prize I would like to win then I bookmark that particular contest which then makes it easier for me to enter daily... have u ever won anything from them??
 
Occasionally, I have problems and sometimes it's slow — maybe because of site traffic — but most days Woman's Day contests work fine. When it doesn't work, I return later in the day. I have won a couple of times and really like the prizes. Be patient. It is worth the effort. Good luck. Woman's Day is my favorite among the contests. If site is really slow sometimes, try multi-tasking. Do something else while you wait.
 
Are we talking about http://www.womansday.com sweeps?

If yes, I'm with bjedit - if they are loading really slow, I try later or skip them for that day. They have lots of wonderful opportunities so even though I have yet to win from them, since I won the GP from a daily that ran a year with monthly prizes, I don't worry about who else might be entering :laughing:

I've noticed that the more up to date I am the faster I'm able to enter these resource intensive type sweeps:

I'm trying to send a personal message to bjedit - I wrote it and hit "Submit" or "Send" or whatever, and it's stuck or something. On top, the blue button is going round and round, the green bar @ the bottom SLOWLY CREPT UP TO ABOUT HALFWAY, AND IT'S STILL THERE. I keep hitting the blue circle to no avail. Amy, how can I get through to bjedit?? I don't mind if you give my e-mail, or should I just write the same note and try again?? I guess it won't be a duplicate, unless the first one goes through as I'm doing it. JohnWS556. Thanks.

Sorry to hear that you are having problems sending a pm. Sometimes I hit a snag here and there. I usually just start over and it goes thru. Usually when that happens to me, I know it is time for me to do some computer clean up and when I am done things run alot faster.
