Wins and a question

I've got back into the "game" on the 1st of the year I hadn't done much since about 2007. My goal coming back was a kindle(haven't won one yet, but have bought two, one for myself and one for my daughter). Since coming back I have won a 2liter of Pepsi, a couple of books from booktrib, 3 books from goodreads, a few download books, a Tim Hortons 4 song download code,
a coupla post-it instants,
2 Quaker/Snap Fish codes,
Cold Stone Creamery card,
White Collar Prize Pack from Pazsaz Entertainment,
A few ringtones,
A prize from Pendaflex(facebook contest),
And today just got A toothbrush sanitizer from the HGTV That's Cool, What is It sweep(a surprise)

My question is the other day I got a winner screen from Direct TV/Game of Thrones Instant, but I never got an Email confirm or anything, I'm not sure if I'm going to get it or not. The prize was either an Xbox, a Kindle, or a 125 AMEX card. Does anyone know anything about this process. Any info would be helpful.

I don't have any answers for you on your questions, but congratulations on all those wins, including the mystery win!
 
Congratulations on all your wins! There are a few things I do if I don't get a confirmation email after a few days. First I check my spam folder. If its not there, I try to figure out who is administering the contest (it usually tells you in the rules, sometimes it's the very last thing.) It could be eprize, etc. Then I would email them with as much information as I have (the name of the sweeps, date played, etc.) and see if they can look in to it for you. You could also check the "latest comments" here at SA or go to the sponsor's facebook page if they have one and see if anyone else has posted about getting a winning email. That way you can find out if you are not alone! Also if you don't know how to already, I would encourage you to learn how to take a screen shot of the win screen. It can be done on any computer, phone or tablet, and then at least you have something to send the company rep if they contact you. Good luck!
 
sometimes i don't get a email either mostly if it's a eprize game but if you email them they will always say yes and that you'll get your prize with in 8 -10 weeks after the game ends. i wouldn't sweet it you'll get it but you can contract eprize i'm not sure of the email but you can look them you and shoot them a question. by the way great win.
 
Thank you for your help I am going to look into the sponsors it's only been a couple of days so I am not getting too excited but I will also try to figure the screenshot thing out I did try but apparently it didn't work.
 
:) Congratulations on all the wonderful wins! There are only 30 instant win prizes on the DirectTv Game of Throns so you were really lucky to win! As the others have mentioned it is not uncommon to not get a confirmation email.


If you look at the bottom of the Game of Thorns page and click on Officical Rules you will see all the rules. I would provide a link but it is a PDF file. Per their Official Rules:
Instant win prize winners should allow 6 to 8 weeks after verification of eligibilty for prize delivery.
 
one thing i have tried when that type of thing happened to me is that when i tried to play the instant game again it told me i had already won the maximum instant win prizes, so i knew that i really had won!

Congrats! I'm new sweeping & new to the website too. I got the "Instant Win" message back on 3/6 but never received a confirmation email either. amyshulk responded to my post with the sponsor info. I sent an email & they just replied that I should wait the 8-10 weeks for prize verification. They really didn't confirm my win but I'm hopeful:)

Congrats, I'm still trying for a kindle fire, iPad or any tablet for that matter. I've seen someone on here who mentioned they've won like 10 tablets, boy when it rains it pours I guess lol :)
