Poker it's both..... It is Luck but along with Luck is Persistence that everyone talks about... It's true... When I first came here to SA, I was discouraged and feeling like maybe I am waisting time on dreams. But I was proved wrong when I started seeing a few wins come in......

most of the wins you see come from instant win sweepstakes, but there are also wins showing from daily,one time type sweeps. The instant win sweeps offer better odds for the most part of winning something. I complete on average 40 instant win sweeps a day but there are others that do more, venturing into the hundreds.

I believe it's working at it hard and in "The Man Up Above's" good graces. You have to enter ALOT of sweepstakes to win consistently; and let's just say 100 to 150 daily's isn't enough!! :wave:

Do you consider instants a part of your dailies, or separate? I have very poor luck with dailies that aren't instants.

I've never separated instants. They go right in with my daily's. If they're weekly's, monthly's, etc., they go into those folders.

How much do you enter? Try going through the list of sweepstakes that are expiring TODAY. With some sweeps I've entered, I didn't here for like 6-9 months after ENTRY that I won (if I won).

Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win. If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.
The sweepers credo? Enter and forget it. Always be happy for those that win - even when they win "your" prize :laughing: - and be positive you will win.
Reminding myself of the sweepers credo is how I keep my positive attitude, and my sanity.
I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!! I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!
Hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!! :headbang:

It took me 4 months to win my first small prize, then 3 more months for my next prize. I don't win as regularly as others, but when I do win, the prize is usually something I really want. I had a great early 2006. Honestly, I have been scaping the bottom for a while since then. But, every now and then a nice prize comes in and I keep going.
