If you recently upgraded Windows 10 to the Legacy Update and are experiencing incredible system slowness you might want to consider

uninstalling it from the Windows Control panel. Microsoft is getting many complaints about this recent upgrade and it will definitely interfere with your sweepstakes entry hobby and speed. Just thought we'd pass that along as we spent the day dealing with it and decided to uninstall the major update and go back to the latest build.

I spent the last [5-8?] months dodging the sneaky Win10 updates that would force the Win10 "upgrade" so I won't be of much help.

Bad enough I had to get a new laptop & only 8.1 was offered - I don't have a smartphone & have NO use for the bells & whistles so I made my laptop act/look like Win7

For anyone in the "slow jam", Go into the Windows Update section of the Windows Control Panel and there will be an option to
revert back to the older Operating System build. It took a few minutes but all is back to normal for us.

The problem will manifest itself in the windows task manager ( performance tab ) . Disk usage will be at 100% just about all the time
even when you are not using the computer. This obviously isn't normal. Not sure why Microsoft let this one out without thorough testing?

Some other things do not make sense at all. It seems it come pre-installed with Skype. Not sure why they made that mandatory?

I get 100% Disk usage when I run CCleaner & Windows Defender, and sometimes in Firefox - usually from a resource intensive sweeps
