whiner's wall

Okay...I've been holding off as long as possible, but it's time to whine!

Despite spending hours EVERY SINGLE DAY (I rarely miss a day) entering hundreds of sweepstakes of all kinds, in the last several months I have won nothing more than digital "prizes" (Kinect Sensor Avatar Prop anyone?) and couple bags of chips! If fact, since the beginning of the year, I've only had one win I've really counted as a "real win", and those were tickets to Disneyland. I feel like no matter what I do, (enter at different times, enter different types, enter more than ever) my efforts just aren't paying off. I even spent ALL DAY last Sunday playing the Walmart Ultrabook instant win Game...I thought, "This is it! These are great odds, I'm finally going to win something!" But, despite clicking links EVERY MINUTE for 9 hours straight, it was just a huge waste of time. I really really really just want to give up and never look back, but I feel like if I did that, all this effort up until now will have been for nothing. But I also feel think I am chasing something that can't be obtained. Wow. Fellow SAers, I think I may be a sweep-oholic.

Sorry for the long whine!! I really needed to do that!
 
MrsCorkyLeigh - Good whine - now for my counter-intuitive advice.

Take a week off. At *least* take a few days off.

No, really, it will work.

It will allow you to purge the self-defeating "I entered 24/7 and nada!" and come back refreshed, and you will probably dump those sweeps with prizes you disdain, change up your timing naturally, and view this hobby as fun again! :sunny:

Haven't won anything at all recently and I'm cranky because I just renewed my SA premium membership and I'd like to be able to justify it :cussing:
 
Just need to whine a little and hope this changes my luck. Seems like it doesn' matter what time of day I enter instants still can't win. Hope this dry spell ends soon!!!
 
Ok! I guess I am whining. Have not won anything now in the last week or so. Looking for a new win, big or small. Hoping the whiners wall helps! LoL :whistle:
 
Oh dear Whiner's Wall...my old friend.

I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight...I wish to win a vacation prize (one that I can actually use). Been sweeping for many years now and while I have been thrilled with each win...I still hold on to the dream of a vacation win. :crazytongue:

Who am I kidding, I will be happy with any wins that come my way! So please wins...feel free to come my way. You will be welcomed with open arms by one very happy sweeper!

i hate seeing the word "finally" when people report their wins. A win is exactly that, not an entitlement, it happens or it doesn't and there is no "finally" about it. That's my whine, glad to have somewhere harmless to put it.

I hear you, but I get the sense that it's out of relief, rather than entitlement :sunny:
 
Whine-o-rama! I have had a terrible day...don't let my exclamation fool you. :cry: And I am stopping to whine at the fact there are many dailies I am sooo sick of looking at! Why don't I stop entering them then? Who knows...I guess I am a die-hard! :whistle: whinnnneeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
 
:wave: Good luck to everyone! I came here to whine, because I am not feeling the love with my sweeps like I use to. This year has been especially dry. So I came to whine, but after reading, I realize that I have nothing to whine about. I have been doing this for just about 6 years and I have won some great things including a TV, a Wii and 3 great trips. I know eventually the next win will come... but still, I hope it is soon! :cry: I miss seeing YOU WON! Or getting a phone call or a Fed Ex package. Ok, so I had to whine a little!! GLTA!

I know, we see someone who hasn't won in 6 months or more, and it makes us feel greedy if we whine that it's been slower than it used to be for us. :crazytongue: :whistle:
 
I know it could be a lot worse here...but I need to start winning!! The wins for August were soooo slow and small! I am grateful for any and all wins, just wish there were more of them :laughing: :nono:
 
:wave: Happy Labor Day I need to whine!!!! My engine blew up in my car!!! My hubby is out of work!! I am blessed with a nice family and a nice house. I am whining today out of need. I need a new car. Please send some good vibes my way. Some prayers for work for my hubby would be appreciated as well. Thank you and have a restful holiday you all deserve it!!! :sunny:

I hate to do it, but ARGH! I send YOU WON! emails to other folks (which is fun) all the time via my blog, but I haven't won ANYTHING for almost all of 2012. Thousands and thousands and thousands of entries! So close to quitting sweeps. Did great in 2010. Okay in 2011. But 2012? DRY as dirt. Well I did get a free pen. And nail polish. Sigh. Whine rant over. :cry:
 
Grrr...Well pump went out $900.00 to replace, AC went out $2,300.00 to replace both within 24 hrs! Mom's bday is Sep 13th, 4 yr olds Sep 23rd, 14 yr olds Sep 27th and 1 yr old Oct 7th. For crying out loud, please Whiner's wall, help me win something!!! Toys or a gift card would be great. End vent...

I desperate so...Anything good, useful, and needed.

:wave: I am i a whiner not a winner Happy 22nd anniversary to me! I so wanted to be able to attach a winning affadavit : to my hubbys anniversary cart. :cry:
