whiner's wall

I haven't won anything in months. Not even a book or a coupon. It is starting hurt when I see my facebook sweeper friends constantly winning. Like nearly every day and I'm all I'd kill for a $.50 coupon right now
 
I haven't won in such a long time, I honestly can't remember the last time I won anything. I enter quite a lot but don't seem to have any luck. I would love to win anything at this point!
 
It's now the second half of 2018. My "take" for the first 6 months: A can of dog food, and a $25 Hasbro GC. I spent around 180 hours entering, to win $26. Something's gotta change.
 
I have not won in such a long time! I put in the hours each day, this is the longest dryspell, I am hoping that the second half of the year turns around and makes up for the first half! Here is to wining a BIG Win! A trip, money, jewelry, electronics.... something...... Good luck everyone!

Here to vent again... I love sweeping, the first couple of years, I had great wins! Now I have not had a big win in awhile. I am hoping that this helps put me back on winning big lol, I mean a big cash or trip win! Come on I know it is coming my way this month!
 
cherylpat, I came to join in on the whining. Often, it seems I will get a win after I finally decide to whine. I thought the winnings were few and far between since so many were unemployed. Then I thought that it is because I do not participate in sweeps on social sites. I admit that I simply don't know why there are so few wins as of late. I hope you and I as well as other whiners will get nice wins soon.
 
My last big win was from December 2012. I finally hit a 4 night motel stay from Marriott, but this wasn't from eprize/helloworld. So I'm happy, so many ways to use this. But Eprize/helloworld has given me a complex. I almost feel like they are only letting me win coupons and knick knacks, I did win a Shutterfly $25 off code, from the Coke Sweepstakes site.
 
2018 in general has been a terrible winning year. While I've never won a grand prize, I have won a bunch of decent 2nd place prizes in the past. It's been months now since I've won anything and over a year since I've won an instant win games. I play daily and it's very frustrating.

AHHHHHH.....it feels so good to whine. Thank you to the person who created this board.

Now, back to the grindstone...
 
The amount of wins this year is ridiculously low. I know I can't win every sweeps or contest but come on sweepstakes gods!

I have won several great things in the past including 2 cars, 2 trips & a washer & dryer set. So just knowing that keeps me persistent and entering everyday.

With that being said, a need a big win soon!!
 
I'm in a serious serious slump ... it's been about 4 years since I've won anything good at all. I'd even be happy with a couple of gift cards at this rate. I enter every day faithfully. Ugh, just not like it used to be.
 
There are so many moving parts in sweeping, with the part that fluctuates the most being # of active sweepers at any given time, so while common sense tells us that it MUST make a difference, there is no way to truly know.

Always be happy for those who win - even when they win "your" prize - and be positive you will win.
Sweeping is a hobby that is all about timing. Especially for those elusive instants! IF you enter at the exact right moment, you will win.
If not? Sad to say you won't. But I assure you - it's nothing personal, and those who win a lot don't have any "secrets" - they are just consistent, persistent, and patient.
I really believe that if you go into it thinking you can't win, well, you'll MAKE yourself right so often you'll start believing it!!!
I truly do believe you have to have a positive attitude - don't get hung up on what others are doing - just focus on entering, then move on to something else - like posting so we can get to know you!!!
So hang in there - and enter, enter, enter - and you'll be posting a win before you know it!!! And remember - every day brings new opportunities to win!!!
 
I'm not winning anything! I'm convinced that my winning emails are getting blocked and all those checks and gift cards coming in the mail are getting delivered to someone else! (LOL) Whine, whine, whine!!!!
 
No wins since December 3rd and I enter tons daily. I've had some huge wins in the past but c'mon sweepstakes gods, what have you done for me lately?!?

About 4 months after posting this I won my 1st [so far only] biggie of $10,000!!!

First I want to say congrats to all my fellow whiners who've gone on to become winners! Now I'd like to add a major whine of my own.Why am I such a big loser? I've never missed a days entries ( except for a couple of months after Hurricane Michael, when my internet service was down & I had to put my sweeping on hiatus ) I play the IW games, enter tons of dailies and weeklies and still haven't won anything in over a year except a pop socket and a coupon for free candy. After losing so much to the hurricane I've been entering more sweeps than ever,hoping to brighten my outlook and maybe even replace some of the items that were damaged or destroyed by the storm. But....nothing. Am I being pessimistic or is it possible I'm just not meant to win? I'm beginning to think that maybe some people are just unlucky to a degree that no amount of strategy or persistence can overcome.
 
evanray22 - Try to take the focus off your inability to win right now, and just Enter and Forget it!!! I KNOW it sounds corny, but if you focus on the positive, positive WILL come!!!

Negative thinking will only mess you up, on your timing and attitude, and ENSURE you always lose so posting to get the negative OUT of you WILL help - it's why I encourage people to do so, but not to go overboard lest they get in a downward spiral

We can't all be winners, all of the time, and yes, it IS frustrating to see everyone else winning when we can't seem to hit but don't give up...

I restarted sweeps in 2004 [did snails in the '80's] and it took me 6 years of entering like you [daily] to hit a biggie, and my wins have really dried up since then, BUT, I know if I keep entering then it is possible I can win again :cool:

Thank you so much for the encouragement and advice.I think you're right. I may have been focusing too much on the negative ( not winning ) instead of just entering consistently & telling myself that if others can be winners,I can,too. Thanks again, and congratulations on your awesome $10,000 win!
