Heres my whine: I have never won anything major.. unless you count the microsoft sweeps I won a phone. No trips, only gift card I have won was a $20 giftcard to iTunes, just samples and coupons (like $10 of a $75 purchase to some store I will never shop at. WHY!) I am greatful for every win, and get super excited but its frustrating. I have been off work since may and have been entering like crazy ( Was entering before just not as many hrs a day) because I have nothing to do. Recovering from a injury.. workmans comp isnt paying nearly enough for our bills. I just need some encouragement and cheering up!

I am not sure if this is in the right area, it has been so long since I have posted. I feel the need to whine and pray at the same time. My grandmother passed away last Friday and this Friday we lost a dear friend as well. My friend found it amazing that I could enter contests and win, I can tell you that our family could really use a big win to boost our spirits and our finances. I will pray for a win, I have two new angels in heaven that will help. I have one sweepstakes in particular that I would like to win that ends on October 31 so I will whine to win that one please.

Didn't want to include my whine with a sent prayer. Last thing I won was at the beginning of the summer on a blackandmild instant win lighter. Before that it had been a year and a half since my previous win of a tablet. I feel like I'm due for a win, but winner notifications just haven't been coming my way!

I didn't notice a winning email notification until it was too late. It was for a $1200 sports package (tickets, hotel, etc). I emailed the sponsor, but they emailed me back today and told me they had to pick another winner, since I was too late in responding. I just wanted to whine about my good luck/bad luck. Ouch.
Ouch indeed! When I miss out, I try to reassure myself on how it wouldn't have worked out anyway, but that's cold comfort, I know.
Then I move onto "Well, if I could win that, just think what else is possible" stage, and I diligently check my email, until the next time I slack off, and have to repeat the process!
I've learned to check the rules for notification info, and if the window is really small {have only 1-3 days to respond, say} I'll usually pass that promo up. If it is a really good one though? I'll bookmark a reminder to myself so I won't wait until the weekend to check my dang email!
I have complained about dry streaks but other than a Sears points win two months ago it has been many months since a real win. I usually do well at local basket and or gun raffles but that has seemed to dry up also. * I wake up in the morning and check my email every morning but I'm always disappointed * would love a nice one for a change but any little one would feel awesome right now.*Let's see if the whiners wall can jump start me again.

I have been sweeping for a while and have not won much of anything, especially not anything of substance. I check my email and spam regularly in case I missed anything. Nothing...I am not sure if there are less sweeps, or if I have some bad luck right now, or what, but I sure would like a win, I would love a nice win!
Thanks for that info Bruce, never would've thought to check there! Turns out it's just a headphone wrap, but I imagine I'll still get use out of it to carry around my earbuds and not have the cord tangled..
