What is the deal with wildaboutmovies contests?

Hi All :wave:

Went to the premier of "The Savages" here in Tampa last night. I had printed out a letter that I got from Wild About Movies to use as my pass for the premier.

I had no problems at all using the pass.

Now granted this was not a huge blockbuster film but the theater was full. Our newspaper also handed out passes and I went and got one just in case there was any problems with the Wild About Movies letter.

I waited for about an hour to get in. When I got to the person taking the passes I just handed her the letter. She didnt even really look at it. Again, this may have been because I was probably the only one with a letter instead of the pass from the Tampa Tribune.

Anyway, wanted to follow up with everyone. My suggestion is to try for your self. If theres a premier in your area and you can print a pass from Wild About Movies then I would.

This thread has been quiet for a month. I re-read all the posts and I see that some people successfully used movie passes from Wild About Movies. To date, I don't recall one DVD win from Wild About Movies posted on SA. Given the number of members who enter regularly, I find that a little unusual, even knowing that many people choose not to post their wins.

Good luck to all the people who continue to enter.

Maybe if somebody won a DVD and is afraid to post because of, for example, membership "elsewhere" they could PM or email me and I will confirm. You know I'm not going to get you in trouble with anybody :laughing:

I keep getting passes from them, though have yet to use due to conflicting schedules. No DVD wins yet from them.

I am not entering that site dosent benefit me at all there are very few if any winners and free tickets are never in my area , Sorry but I have other sites to win on and benefit from.
