What is the biggest prize you ever won?

:wave:You are right amy , buty we all have to learn some learn fast other learn slow it is a numbers game. the more you enter the more you win you can not win if you don't enter it.

:wave:Will all do respect....I enter enter enter and have not won anything near what you have! I think you may be a little lucky!
I have been doing this for 20+ years so yeah some is luck but alot is stick to it ness. I enter probably 700-900 sweeps a day with all my dailys, Fb, IW, and one times. I don't do blogs, essay, photos none of that I just do straight sweeps and I win alot. but i am retired and have the time to devote to this hobby.

jlhooker888 - we can tell sweepers this until we are blue in the face, but IMHO it's like paranormal stuff - it seems unbelievable unless you personally experience it :crazytongue:

Well, I guess I'll give it a few years...If I am still around and sweeping.... :crazytongue:

I have only been doing it a year. I do enter a lot. Maybe I'll get my big one some day. I think you and Amy have been doing it many years.

Yup - snails in the 80's, online since 2004. It took intense, daily entering for 6 years to hit big, but along the way, I won some really great prizes, like 4 tires & installation, numerous electronics, giftcards, etc.

I ignore trips/girly girl/kids/etc. but I still find plenty to enter for!

I rarely enter 1x's & focus mainly on IW/DP/WP/MP type sweeps.

I usually take 1 day off a week, to prevent burnout, and I view *every* win as a win

I'm only in competition with myself :crazytongue:

:wave:Yep Amy the wins may not all be Big, but they are all wins. I have too long a list to list hahahah. but I will say I have not had to buy xmas, birthday stuff, or any other gifts out of pocket due to all the wins, in a many years. I even pay my taxes on my big wins with the gift cards I win. So just keep entering. it take time but well worth it.

Agreed - I view sweeping as my job {in the sense that it's on me to "Git Er Done" } as a disabled vet, who can't work, this is a way I can contribute.

And like any job, there are fun bits {wins! :headbang:}, and some not so fun bits {slumps  } but I know if I stick it out, it will be fun again.

Maybe I've stuck it out this long because I'm a type A, who *has* to finish what I start? Or I'm a hopeless optimist, who believed I could win just long enough {6 months} to make it true, and now I *have* to keep entering, wondering what I might win next!!!

I started sweeping in June of '09 and my most expensive win was a 1 carat diamond necklace w/ a check for $900- (ARV $3899) from Sealy posterpedic mattresses and my best useful win was a prize pack from Mycokerewards w/ 2 frisbees, 4 tshirts, 3 yard games, a grill apron with grill tools and a nice Weber grill (ARV $575). My fave win has to be my Toshiba Ultrabook that I won from Intel this past June (ARV $1199).I feel pretty lucky considering how selective I am about what I enter. Good luck to everyone.

I agree about being selective...I only usually play for things I really want..

I know you have your sweeps interests narrowed down. I think we have discussed in the past...my problem is I want most everything! LOL
But....yeah...I am sure it was fun along the way until your "big one" and even since the big one. :)

You did well to do that. I appreciate your input, jlhooker888. Thanks.

It's been my job for a year too. And I am thankful for even the small wins. One day I may get a "regular" job and that might take me away from the intensity with it. You said you break and take one day off a week. I had a long weekend vacation away...then I probably have taken 2-3 1/2 days off a week recently after the long weekend. Meaning I didn't finish my lists those days. I think I am burnt out "a little" right now. It's been a dry August and September, as I have said in other posts. But I am sure it will be fun again soon. Everything cycles, it seems.

I've been sweeping since August 2010. So far, my biggest win was a $1000 gift card from Vitaminwater last year. I've snagged a 2-night stay at Hotel Lincoln in Chicago (which I gave away...didn't come with airfare), a $250 Victoria's Secret gift card (for the wife, clearly) and bunches of $100 and less-type gift cards. I also won two tickets to a UGA game back in 2010, which was AWESOME. :)

Keep it up everyone, and best of luck!! :sunny:

Three months after I started sweeping I won my biggest prize yet:

Sponsor: TVLand
Contest: Bewitched Be There
Prize: 3 day/2 night trip to New York City, Dinner for the night of the Premier, tickets for winner and guest to the Premier of Bewitched staring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell, limo ride from hotel to the theater and back, roundtrip transportation to/from airport via personal towncar. (ARV $3800)

The TVLand rep was late getting off the day of the Premier and so we didn't get dinner. Her boss's boss heard her apologizing to us at the theater and got us all tickets to the after party. The rep was very excited because she otherwise would not have been able to go. Movie was okay. The after party was amazing. Paparazzi outside and security everywhere. Lots of really good food and drinks inside and lots of celebrities. Barbara Walters ran into me and spilled some of her drink on me. She might have been having a little too much fun, but not as much fun as my wife and I.

I've been sweeping since 1999. I've won 15 trips and my biggest win was a million airline miles and $5,000 in Cash (for the taxes)...

 The first sweep I ever won was for a TV from Doritos, before I even really started entering anymore than a sweep here or there. Once I won that, I found SA and started entering everyday. A year later, I won a 7 day cruise. The next year a trip to Universal. After 6 years, I think the cruise, along with luggage, was my biggest win at just over $4000. I enter pretty much everyday. I do not have the time to do a lot of dailys anymore, so mostly I do one time entries and instant wins. I limit dailys to about 20 and only for trips, cash or cars, or something with a big number of prizes that I might have a good shot a winning. And lately, if it is for an iPad, daily, instant or one time, I enter. No luck so far, but I believe it is all about persistance, with just a little luck. My motto "You can't win, if you don't play." I am sure the iPad will be here soon

Hi! I am a newbie to SA but been sweeping for just about a year. This summer I won a one week trip to the Azores, Portugal!!!! We went in October - awesome vacation. I also won a trip to a Texas football game/flight/hotel when I first started sweeping but wasnt able to make the trip so had to forfeit!

I have had a good year of sweeping, tshirts, lots of cleaning supplies, gadgets, pizza prize pack the other week, jewelry...hopinig to get some more tips/insight from the SA crew~

Started entering sweepstakes around 1973. Biggest wins

$5,000 Check
$3,000 check
$1,000 gift cards 5 times
computers 3 times
Guess i have been lucky since I have only 1 year I did not have at least 100 wins in the year.
Mostly just enter IW and dailies now.

Bruce

I've been sweeping a year as of this past august..

Biggest was $5000 weber grill and patio set

Also won a flat screen tv (32") but that's it for big prizes. I really want to win a nice trip for our family of 4 someplace warm and tropical :)
