Was your sweepstakes win broken or has your win ever been missing parts?

I recently won a broken wooden toy from Beechnut and was wondering how often this happens. I've also won:

a broken batman keychain
a broken headband from Madberries

I got a camera from WD where they forgot to send the extra battery and carrying case (they sent it after I contacted them)
I got a different win from WD and they sent one of the coupons (already expired) but forgot to send the rest (didn't send them after contacting them)

I'm sure there are more... but I was wondering how often this actually happens. :sunny:

wow. im sorry so many were broken or missing. I havent had any wins that were broken. Its going to happen I guess. They dont always package things the way the should and some delivery people are careless.

I haven't had anything broken or missing...but I have noticed the prizes are not packed very carefully. I recently received an expensive bottle of Calvin Klein perfume that wasn't wrapped very good at all and was surprised it wasn't broken.

Nah! Probably some careless driver(s) between Point A and Point B. Mail, boxes, etc., will be periodically opened and taped back up when they check contents. I don't know if this is done randomly or if they're suspicious of the contents. I bet things can be lost out of the packaging when they do this. I've had some really bad retaping jobs on some things! :scratch:

I've never received anything broken, but some of the boxes and envelopes the prizes came in looked like they've been through the war.

I won a hand held gaming device with a completely corroded, exploded battery-dunno where they had it stored but it looked like it had been underwater. After some back and forth got a new one.

What a bummer to get your prize and it be broke! No I have never received one yet that was broke!
