Update on a strange prize

The trip was for one person for one night to fish with fisherman Skeet Reese at a lake in an undisclosed location. I'm a non-fisherman but based on coaxing from my kids I submitted the paperwork. It ends up the location of the trip is to Flippin, Arkansas (yes there is such a place). It also ends up the trip would be for two nights in Flippin. (Why do scenes of the movie Deliverance flash through my head?) It sounds like I would be treated as a VIP being picked up by a Stratos factory driver in Branson, MO. I looked at Flippin, Arkansas on Google maps and it does not look like the place where dreams are made. But the prize is so bizarre that I feel maybe someone is sending me a message that I need to go. Or maybe I've been watching too much TV. The trip is set for late July and I need to decide in the next day or so to accept.

Never fished? Hmm, that could be interesting - or frustrating - for Skeet Reese.

Me, I used to enjoy fishing, and would often catch my dinner - I lost interest at about my 5th/6th month of pregnancy when my sense of smell went from EH, to OMG, what IS that??? :p
 
That sounds like a great trip! Just think of all the stories you can tell the kids and grandkids about your big win. They want you to tell everyone how wonderful the sponsor and the trip was so they will make sure that you are taken care of. Go and enjoy yourself! Congrats on the super win!! Arkansas is a beautiful place with great fishing.
