In a couple days we will be leaving for San Diego! This is the third trip I've won but just had to say the people that I have been dealing with have been an absolute pleasure!!
We have received and cashed the check for 600. for car and spending money. They booked us at the Hilton and I emailed and asked if we could stay at a different hotel and she emailed back and said we could stay at any hotel we wanted. We told her we preferred the Hard Rock and she switched it for us. Then I emailed and said that we would be willing to pay for the room if we could stay and additional night. She emailed back and said we didn't have to pay that the sponser agreed to pay for and additional night!!! woo hoo...they let us pick the dates we wanted and the flights that we wanted...so perfect!!!! We are over the moon!!!

Congrats! That is awesome! You never know unless you ask. Sometimes it depends on the sponsor and how they budget for promotions. I almost always ask to stay additional nights with trips wins, especially if they're less than four days and I've never had a sponsor say no. I feel if I'm going to fly half way across the country, I might as well make it more of a vacation and take advantage of the free airfare.
