I can't believe I won this! It is my first big win. Can some of you seasoned big winners give me a ballpark idea on what I can expect to pay in taxes on an ARV of $3524?
 
That would depend on your tax bracket I believe. The lower your income the less you would have to pay. For my household I would have to pay about 31%, but yours could be a lot lower.

As for taxes, I always figure 1/3 of the value goes to the government, the other 2/3 is mine.

I am a senior on a fixed income and when I won $10,000-it didn't even push me up to the next tax bracket, so I paid $0000 Sometimes it pays to be poor! Not always.....CONGRATS! That's a great win!!!!
