Picked up two fantastic little wins in January. I've received one of them, and am eagerly awaiting the second:
Showcase Cinemas US: GLASS Giveaway
I won a journal, a t-shirt, a pair of pants and a rain jacket from the movie Glass this month. Glass is the third installments of N Night Shyamalan's series that started with UNBREAKABLE and stars Samuel L Jackson, Bruce Willis, and James McAvoy. It's a great movie, and we actually saw (and loved) the movie just a few days before this surprise package arrived, so I was super stoked. My better half looks a bit like Bruce (lucky girl), so I've given him the rain slicker and have kept the tee with Samuel L Jackson on it all for myself.
1800 Sweepstakes
1800 Tequila was giving away a bunch of custom-designed jackets as part of their December sweepstakes. This one should be rolling in some time in February and they've been kind enough to send me a photo of the jacket - a denim number with heavy embroidery in a kind of native american pattern on the patches. I'm super intrigued -- I had wondered initially if I'd end up with a jacket I wouldn't be willing to wear but after seeing the pictures, I think it's going to look great
