Well, I was informed this morning I'm the grand prize winner of the Turkish Airlines-Gotta Get out contest. I actually don't get the tickets, I had to nominate someone someone special who would win 2 Business Class airline tickets to any of their destinations. I nominated my sister. I haven't received the additional details of the prize yet in regards to prize value, etc. but am nervous since they are Business class seats, I'm sure the prize value will be astronomical, and cost a fortune in taxes. Hopefully she will be able to go...

How exciting - congrats! I won 2 economy tickets from Turkish airlines last year and went on a Greek cruise. It was awesome. Even in the economy seats it was a good experience - lots of freebies and great service. Funny thing about the crew and pilots - they were all very attractive. Have fun !

That's a great idea, to do some sort of cruise at the destination, I'll have to suggest that to my sister since she LOVES cruises. Can you tell me how the taxes were handled for your win of the airline vouchers. Did you get a 1099 or some document at the end of the year?? Thanks in advance.
