Trip wins

As I was posting in another thread, it dawned on me that I never finished my "fish" story. Sorry!

Some of you were wondering why I had dropped off the "Face of the Forum".

Long story but it just so happens that back in November my "Landlady" (and best friend) Judy managed to have another heart attack. Two of her grafts failed from her Triple-Bypass she had done last year, so back to the Hospital she went for a week to get 2 stents put in. Then in December she had a gall bladder attack and ended up in the hospital again for a total of 9 more days to get that bugger removed. So, all in all, I ended up spending about 3 weeks hanging around in the hospital. (and I wasn't even sick!!!)

And then to top it all off, the last 2 months I have had some mystery malady involving my shoulder, which makes it extremely difficult to type. So ... that's why I haven't been posting. (Just got a $3,000.00 MRI done on it!)

Back to the trip: I do have the third and final segment of the trip Journal all typed up. If you want to read it posted here send me a PM with one of the following options:

I just got back tonight from the Rick Dees Kitchen Nightmare Sweepstakes trip i won. It was airfare, a 2 night stay at the London NYC Hotel in midtown Manhatten, where Gordan Ramsey has a restaurant, and $500 spending money. it was my first time in New York and what an experience!! Thank goodness for sweeping or i would never have been able to take a trip like this. Keep entering folks cause somebody has to win!!!
 
Haven't been able to enter many sweeps because of a job change with a 5 hour round trip commute, but won a great trip to Oahu from Design Star on HGTV. Took the trip last month and it was perfect! The hotel was Outrigger Reef on the Beach, 17 steps from the ocean. The restaurants were great, the scenery awesome and the visit to Pearl Harbor was unforgettable. I LOVE sweeping! Also saw the world's largest hawaiian shirt, a 400xxx! What a hoot as it had been 18 years since I was able to take a vacation. Vacations are addictive.

We won an all-inclusive, all-expense trip for two to Cancun. We went in February.
