Trip wins

Two years ago I won a trip to Barbados. I had never been to the Caribbean and always wanted to go so it was a dream come true. The resort we stayed at was beautiful. We got four nights there and I wished we could have stayed a few more nights, my husband and I were having such a great time! The only downside was the food and drinks were not included and that was so expensive. I wish we had also got some spending money. But we had a wonderful time and I'll remember it forever.

I just returned last week from my trip to Vegas that I won to see the Latin Grammy's from McDonalds!!!!!!!! I also won a $500.00 vaniila visa card and 2 $25.00 McDonalds cards. It was awesome. I have been married for 16 yrs. and never had a honeymoon, so this trip was amazing to us to get. We pretended we were on our honeymoon!!! THANKS SO MUCH TO McDONALDS AND OF COURSE SWEEPSTAKES ADVANTAGE. Don't give up on entering sweeps, cause I was a non-believer before I won this trip. Good Luck to all sweepers.

My favorite part of the trip was the alone time my hubby and I had, the free stuff was all extra. Thanks ya'll and wishing you all good luck. Linda
 
Won a trip off facebook last night on the intrepid travel page. 2 weeks all inclusive safari trip to africa!!! OMG I am so excited and nervous at the same time we leave March 29th ! :headbang:

Also November 2010 won a trip on facebook to the bahamas all expense paid on the budlight port paradise cruise and to cocoa kay for a private island concert! best cruise I have ever been on they really took care of us.

I think they may be listed by frequency of entry, so if a facebook sweep is one-entry, it will be with One Entries...if it is a daily, it will be with the Dailies, etc. except for instant wins which are with the Instant Wins, but often say (facebook).

I am a SweepsPlus member, so I'm not 100% sure, because SP has separate categories for Facebook and Twitter (in the same way SA has a category for Blogs) so I see all the same sweeps, but in a slightly different listing.

I was notified two weeks ago that I won a 4 day cruise on the new Disney Dream: cruise, airfare, tips and transportation to port for 4 from My Coke Sweepstakes Rewards, valued at $4,800. I had entered (and used) all my rewards points on this one but was still very excited and surprised to get notified of the win.

Here's the rub, though:
Has anyone ever won a travel package from MCR before that can give me some insight on how things work?
I was notified quickly--the day of the drawing--and paperwork was notarized and approved right away. However, they now say it will be 4-6 WEEKS before anyone contacts me about actually booking the trip. It's a new ship so the ship is completely full--in fact, for the room category I won, there isn't a room available til 1/15/2012! I have to take the trip by 3/2012, book 45 days in advance, there are LOTS of blackout dates AND work around school schedules. I would gladly pay for an upgrade to a different category of room but that boat is full! Rooms pop up periodically but if don't hear from anybody for another month or so, getting on that ship while school is out is gonna be impossible. I've called and emailed Coke with my concerns but they give an automated response--4-6 weeks.
I just don't understand the lag time so I was wondering if any one else had experienced this and also curious is there are some rooms set aside for cases like this, for promotions, that don't show up to the general population in availability.
Can anybody give me any insight?
 
I just won a trip to vegas TOMORROW to see Donnie & Marie for my local LA radio station. :headbang: totally random they just called me!

- One-night stay at the Flamingo Las Vegas (Saturday, April 30)
- Passes to a private pool party/cocktail reception, where you'll be one of the first to hear the album before its release on May 3

Donnie & Marie are awesome, I've seen their show totally cool :D
 
I was just in Vegas last Wednesday/Thursday. I saw it advertised. Fortunately for you I didn't win so much money that they had to close the strip :laughing:

Haha!! I love Vegas so much. Actually a lot of events I wanted to go to this weekend in Vegas, but I just didn't have the money to pay for an expensive weekend hotel and gas and tickets to the shows, so now maybe I will get to do some of it :)

I love gambling it's bad haha :-x maybe I'll win a bit, since I've had so much good luck this week!
