Congrats on your awesome win! They do issue a 1099 and you will pay the tax on what you won. I won a prize from them to the Pro Bowl in Miami in 2012. Never got it in the mail, but the IRS had it on record, 1 year later I got a bill for it from IRS. Please make sure you ask what year it is taxable.
