Toilet Paper

just wanted everyone to know, I can't win anything at all ever, Not even a toilet paper cover lol.

NO! :nono:

You must stay positive.

I find if I am not winning the online contests I try my local contests.

Try looking at your local radio and T.V. stations websites. They have local contests. :headbang:

Easy winning!

It's easy to get a little discouraged, but what do you need a toilet paper cover for anyway. Better to use your good luck on a more interesting prize. Hang in there.

jeanmv,

I moved your post and sent you a pm.

For you and others reading this, please only post wins in the regular portion of the Winners' Circle.

If you want to complain about not winning, you have several options:

The very popular, already several pages long and ever-growing Whiners' Wall, which is stickied near the top of the Winners' Circle:
http://www.sweepstakesplus.com/smf/whiners-wall-t57176.0.html

or

right here in Gripe/Vent.

Hope everyone wins, and in the meantime, try to have fun entering, reading posts, learning, getting to know other sweepers, helping, whining, congratulating... :)

No worries jeanmv.

Even with 25,000 toilet paper cover prizes, you can't give them ALL away the first day when the sweeps goes until October 31st. Hahaha. There would be no prizes left for the rest of the period.

That goes for pretty much any sweeps. Just hang in there, be persistent, and keep trying. Best of luck. :)

Ways I deal with the frustration:

1} I get outside of my own head by helping others. Either by voting, answering questions, or just getting a little silly. :crazytongue:

2} I avoid the winners circle. It's not that I'm not happy for other members, it's just that I don't need the constant reminder that I'm not one of them - for now. :crazytongue:

3} I hard charge on sweeps, going through all the categories and getting a sense of satisfaction/accomplishment when I get all caught up.

4} I take a break from the computer, since it's gone from being fun to being a chore.

If you keep pushing yourself to enter and things don't change, you will most likely burn out and quit, whereas if you make a decision to take a break for a day or 2, you are still in control.

I *usually* find I return after my mini "vacation" that I'm refreshed and can see things more clearly, so the little things don't get to me, and I enjoy instead of dreading entering my sweeps. :sunny:

Looks like you are super lucky. It didn't take long for you to win, and such a great win!!
