I've won a car. I won it in 2005 from Dr.pepper, it was a mini cooper convertible. I borrowed the money to pay the state taxes and licensing since it had to be paid up front. I needed close to $3k that day. I sold it when I picked it up to my mom for $20k to pay off a couple debts to her and other bills. I did have a little fun with some of the money though! I bawled like a baby, I didn't want to sell the car but, I knew I had to. I drove it once and that was driving it home on a couple hour drive. That baby was fast!!

I am glad I sold it now, she has had some major expenses to pay on it now. Tags are very high also, it's a sports car though.

Anyways, I broke even with deductions and such during federal taxes and didn't have to pay anything in, I didn't get a refund either (that hurt, lol). If I didn't, I would have paid in around $3-$5k in federal taxes.

Good luck everyone! I want to win a car I can keep, I really need one and it would help me go back to college as well since it's an hour away and our truck is on its last leg...again, lol.
