Time to take a break?

Sometimes. Sweeping is my hobby and if I'm not having fun, I take a break. For me, the breaks don't last long. There's nothing like a winning email or a prize on my doorstep to get me excited all over again. I have shown many people how to enter sweepstakes and not one of them has stuck with it. It's definitely not a hobby for everyone. When people ask me what I like to do for fun, I usually start by saying, "well...I kinda have a strange hobby..." :)

Really? Prizes sometimes get mailed with no notice?

Yes- maybe not burned out so much as busy with other things. I work full time and have two kids who are super active in sports, so there are many weeks and months where I just don't have time and focus on only a few- or none at all. Then I'll come back in spurts. I agree- that random wining email does help spark my interest again!

I've been doing this for 6 months and have only won a constellation prize to which I had to pay for the shipping. It's just not very fun right now. What am I doing wrong?
I do not know. How much time per day do you spend at it? I read on Contest Queen of Canada blog 2 hours everday day is minimum you should spend to hopefully win one item per month. She also said give it 90 days before getting discouraged. Also, was that a legit contest that asked you to pay for shipping?
I’ve been sweeping since June 1st. I won three prizes straight away but then nothing. I hoping since September 1st was my 90 days I will start winning again.
