Hello, I'm new and I have a question. I am a poor doctoral student in a very big city, and I'd like to use sweepstakes to help myself and my husband to afford to live a little bit better, should I be fortunate enough to win. However, it seems to me that finding and entering sweepstakes and IW contests can be very time consuming (I've already lost 24 hours on my thesis!). How much time do you spend on average each day entering sweepstakes? How do you keep entering contests from taking as much time as a regular job? After you find your "standard" sweeps, is it faster to get through them? (I am using Ubuntu, so Roboform is not an option, but there is a firefox extension called Sxipper, which I have found VERY helpful in speeding things up).
Also, just out of curiosity, how long after you began entering daily did you begin to have wins? I apparently won a sample of Tom's of Maine toothpaste today, to be delivered 8-10 weeks after the end of their contest. Somehow, I don't think that that will improve my standard of living very much, but I'm pleased by the prize anyway, should I ever receive it.
