I got a twitter notice that I won $1000, I think it's from The Kellogg’s Ready. Set. Saturday Sweepstakes. It requires me to send a DM to them on twitter and I have attempted to send one twice, but I'm not sure they have went thru and I only have 3 more days to make contact. I asked them to acknowledge, but so far nothing. I think there is a way to find out if they have read the DM, and I have looked all over my account and can't find the procedure. I have googled it and the answers I get don't seem to produce a valid method. Any help would be extremely appreciated.

Do you have a friend on twitter you can DM to make sure they receive it? Also, you might try to just tweet them directly, I'm not sure how many mentions they receive in tweets and who might see it, but it's worth trying. Sorry, I can't be more help. Big congrats to you none the less!! That is a huge win!!

4. WINNER SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about the drawings dates as noted in chart in rule #1 from among all eligible entries received by Sponsor or its designee, whose decisions are final and binding, during the respective Entry Period. The potential prize winners will be notified by email, Twitter Direct Message (“DM”) (for Twitter entries), phone and/or mail, using contact information provided or collected at the time of entry.
Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted or not received by a potential winner for any reason. If, despite reasonable efforts, a potential winner does not respond within (5) calendar days of the first notification attempt, or if the prize or prize notification is returned as unclaimed or undeliverable to such potential winner, such potential winner will forfeit his or her prize and an alternate winner may be randomly selected in Sponsor’s sole discretion. Sponsor, in its sole discretion, will attempt to contact up to (3) potential winners of a prize in accordance with the above procedure, after which the prize in question may go unawarded if it remains unclaimed. If any potential prize winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines the prize for any reason prior to award, such prize will be forfeited and an alternate prize winner may be selected.

UPDATE -----Thanks guys for the help. I finally heard from them and I did tweet them directly, but I'm not sure if they replied to my tweet or to my DM's. At any rate, they said that I would hear from their sweeps management people in a week or two with instructions on how to proceed.
