The Hearst Magazine Daily's are winnable!

My May prize from Cosmo or Marie Claire sponsored by Snapette arrived yesterday.
They don't give much info in the email, so I wasn't sure what was going to show up.

Since most of the May prizes for these two magazines were cell phone covers, that's what I was expecting... so I was pleasantly suprised when it was one of the bags instead...

Still have another 4 weeks or so before I learn which prize I've won from June's countryLiving or HouseBeautiful Cocodot June giveaways...

Also, because I know the question comes up.... I entered every day's sweep daily for these. (May 1, then May 1 & May 2, then May 1, May 2, May 3... etc until I was entering 31 sweeps per magazine the last day of the month.... tedious, yes, but it paid off for me in May and June )

It's one of those things that gets debated around here every few months. Yes, that's what I did.

Yes it was debated, but I don't remember a winner saying they entered that way? :scratch:

And I don't have to wait another 4 weeks, my June prize arrived today. a set of 6 red goblets. Unfortunately, the stems of two of them broke in transit. So, until I find out about replacement, it's a lovely set of 4 red goblets

That's a shame. I hope they replace them...but if not, 4 is better than none. Nice prize! :sunny:

Congrats! I have tried entering the same way, i.e. May 1, May 1&2, May 1,2&3, etc. It seems like sometimes it will allow you to enter for past dates and sometimes will tell you that you have already entered. A bit confusing.

Also, I'm always puzzled when one of the magazine sites (for example, this month's cosmo page: http://www.cosmopolitan.com/quizzes-games/giveaway/) say enter for a chance to win everyday, but then only have things to win the first five days. I usually find myself wondering if the page is not loading properly, or if there is some other glitch that is only showing a few days to win something that claims to be every day of the month. Wow, I even confused my self with that last paragraph....

ya country living was the first i noticed that did that with the candles and i entered all everyday and won..personally i think its a cheap way for them to go ..say for example house beautiful this month has 8 prizes versus 31 for the month..just won a satchel from sneekpeek and womens day i entered more than once but not daily on the ones i really liked.. :sunny:
